Wlad vs Povetkin superfight build up thread

Povetkin is a decent HW with an inside style, but no defense! His best chance is wearing Wlad down, but Wlad is a much more savvy, technical fighter thanx to the legendary Manny Steward and will make Pov eat a nice, juicy uppercut and make him think twice. Pov has to go balls out every single round with a shitload of head movement cuz Klits rarely to the body. Pov has failed to impress the last couple of fights, especially the Huck fight. WTF was that? And you want to beat Wlad looking like that? Are you serious? Superfight my ass the cats in my alley throw down better superfights than this! Who does this ruskie manager think he's fooling? What a pinhead!

 

Well..........we know that one of the judges is a criminal, will be wearing an ankle bracelet, don't know about the others. I suspect the referee will be on the take also..................however, I think Vlad will knock Povetkin out even with the referee trying to protect him................

 

Povetkin needs to give it his all and go for the knockout. Hes gotta be willing to take a few jabs to duck and get on the inside, and once there, never give Wlad a chance to breathe. Easier said then done, but Povetkin knows that he's literally in the fight of his life tomorrow night.

what caught my attention is how trimmer Pov looked in the earlier part of his career, and now how he resembles more of a beer drinking contestant than a pro fighter

I'm wondering what it will be like when any of Chisora, Haye or Fury meet at ringside

I half expect Fury to jump in the ring afterwards and start singing 'The world's greatest' while Chisora rips up his boxing licence before the cameras and beelines for K2. Haye will have a sticker arrow on his forehead pointing to the cut he sustained as he grips a bottle tightly, eyes darting around him in case trouble comes his way.
