So if Povetkin is mandatory and the Super Champion faces their paper champion...does Wlad get to keep both belts when he wins?? (I doubt that!).

Wlad wins KO/TKO...mid to late rounds...after catching up with chicken boy.

He gets elevated to super mega champion, then the wba will instate another regular champion and if Wlad beats him he becomes super mega ultra champion.

Atleast i think thats how the WBA works now.
It's hard to keep track of their dealings....

Wlad retains WBA Super title. The WBA regular title will become immediately vacant. Profit machine for the WBA.

The WBA created these gay ass title belts to ensure and force the #1 contender and the champion to always fight , thus giving the public a good fight rather than the constant non fights of the best in the division. of course we are going on almost 2 years since Povetkin has owned this PAPER title belt he has with no fight vs the real champion. somehow the IBF enforces **** match ups of mandatory fights like thompson II....but the WBA cant figure out how to make a #1 guy fight after 2 years

The regular WBA belt is basically the mandatory ticket for the real belt.

I think its just about getting the WBA more $$$$ in sanctioning fees. Why? Cos if they get their 2 champions to fight..then as already mentioned earlier....they can't have 1 man have both their titles....so they will make it vacant and again the circus routine will continue. I says its all about $$$$$ and nothing really more beyond that. Cynic that I am. :D

    Wlad by KO.

But I doubt Povetkin will be in the ring on fightnight. When Povetkin was the mandatory for the IBF he refuses to fight Wlad 2 times. This time it will be the same.

It isnt a unification by any stretch. Nobody regards Povetkin a champion.

Wlad wins this by boring UD. Povetkin is overrated.

The WBA created the other title to collect more sactioning fees. They don't care about the fans as long as they're gullible enough to keep believing their can actually be more than one world champion in any division.
