    I wanna see Wlad-Ibragimov next.

But I don't give a **** about unification. Fans shouldn't care if two ****in belts are going to be together. **** unification.

This fight matters because both are top contenders, not because they have belts that don't mean anything.

Sultan can always fight Wlad just for the IBF title and still make a mandatory defense against Thompson but I doubt he would. There are free men for Wlad's tune up match such as Briggs in NYC, David Tua, Hasim Rahman and Andrew Golota wherever it'd take place and these would bring no-uncertain extra credibility in Klitschko's resume and money of course.

I am not saying the divsion would be saved with one fighter winning the second belt, no. But it would certainly be the start to defining a dominant and unified champion for people to take interest in. Nothing magical or sudden would happen, no, but it would be a step towards getting the division more clarified and interesting, especially to the casual sports fans.

And I strongly disagree on Wlad not being an interesting story for public appeal. The guy is the exact opposite of what people expect from a heavyweight champion. His advanced educatoin and professional demeanor belies how devastaing he can punch with BOTH hands..........

I think modern culture usually expect a successful individual to be either physically powerful, OR intellectually intelligent............but this guy is both.............That, and the uniqueness of him being a dominant white unified champion (another oddity in heavyweight boxing), I think, would make him very marketable.

    Not really.
