This will be a classic Wlad fight. Sultan will come in, not realize how big Wlad is, be shocked how fast Wlad is, and will have not expected how hard he hits. So he will tense up and before he knows it, he will be knocked out before 7.

Smartest post you have made. Exactly. He wears you down and then goes in for the kill.

No, I bet you 2/1 that this fight will end up being canceled somehow.

I agree, unless Ibragimov just fights to survive.

i do agree that wlad would win, however i always find it hard to predict a KO when the fighter has never been close to being knocked out before. not saying he wont, but id just think we'd see a lopsided UD

yeah maybe im not giving sultan credit as a boxer...coz he is pretty smooth and is well known for being crafty (not unlike toney in a lot of ways)...but the power difference is just SO overwhelming. hopefully we'll see :thumbsup

    Wlad by 4th rd KO

get the belt and move on just business as usual I don't see any threat posed by Sultan...

at the same time I don't want to be overconfident

I'd bet my house on Wlad to KO Sultan quite easily.

Austin lasted less than two rounds, and add to that, the fact that Sultan and Austin fought a pretty comptitive fight to a draw.

And Sultan is also at a big size disadvantage, on top of his other obvious disadvantages.

The only way Sultan survives past four rounds is if he is very hesitant to get in range.

And that's what I think we'll see: Sultan will stay safe, pacing from the the outside, afraid to get caught by Wlad. And this will obviously make for a very long and boring fight that Wlad will win on points for chasing Ibrag around the ring for 12.

Or, Wlad manages to catch Sultan during one of the precious few times he comes in range. Then it'd get interesting.

Either way, I see Sultan being very hesitant to get in range. He'll be very cautious and constantly moving away.
