Holmes jab was better than Ali's harder and he threw it correctly with his guard hand in the right position for incoming ,that 's how Futch schooled Norton to outjab Ali, something I asked you about a while back but you didn't know! Holmes and Ali both outbox Wlad.

Holmes had one of the great uppercuts.

one good thing this thread does is it puts wlad seperate from the atgs.

to be fair, its wrong because he makes the bottom of the atg great list on longevity, familial title ownership, excellent management and promotion and scholarly prodigity which balances out his weaknesses as a boxer.

Atlas is a biased ***** and the absolute worst media guy in picking fights. He's best used for humor. He's still the same bitter guy who once pulled a gun on a young Mike Tyson, and made his name by briefly working with him.

He's worked with others.Moorer ,and Bradley to name two. He didn't pull a gun on Tyson because he was bitter he did it because Tyson stepped over the line.

    1 Louis
    3 Holmes
    5 Foreman
    6 Holyfield
    7 Frazier
    9 Liston
    10 Bowe

He has a good chance of beating any of these. And he has a good chance of being beaten by any of these. That's why they call them ATG's.

+1. I think you could copy and paste "win some, lose some" for how any ATG heavy would do against the rest and be spot on the money.

Hypothetically, if there was a round robin where everyone fought once against everyone else on a top 10 list, I doubt more than 3 wins would separate the first place finisher from the last. There's much more parity in it than we like to admit.

Wlad is unique because he'd likely beat most ATGs but have two or three complete implosions if matched against the wrong guys.

He has a greater chance of being beaten by them. Dominance over C-levelers doesn't make an argument for winning singular fantasy h2h fights against Elite levelers. If if did Trinidad would have a good chance of beating SSR , or Ottke would be a match for Roy Jones Jr.

Another example - Bowe beating Holyfield says more about what he can achieve on one night than Wlads successive wins against non-descriptors.
A fight is one night , not 10 years. Would you agree?

Plus , Bowe's win over Vander in 1992 has still not been bested. :rambo1:

Wlad never beat anybody even remotely close to an ATG. What do you base that assumption off?

I actually have no interest in discussing boxing with you, particularly if it involves the Klitschko brothers. Ty.
