KOBE...I think you are a good poster, and I always read your posts.

...but I don't care for some of the threads you start, it's like they are purposely mistitled...to get views...???

    ...anyway, Merry Christmas buddy.

I mostly agree on everyting you said.

I also would like to see Toney-Thompson. But I read an interview of Thompson on the scene that presents boxing that the fight will very likely not happen. This is entirely Dan Goossen's fault and as the Toney fans should really feel cheated.

Yeah, Toney would outbox the slow Valuev to a 12 round decision.

I can't see Toney beating Wald. But then again probably nobody beats Wlad right now.

I'll definitely be cheering for Toney. Maybe getting a title shot will motivate him

Personally, I don't think Toney would want the fight.

He was offered $1.4 mil last time. I don't think he will get that much now after his last few fights which have been less than stellar.

He is a guy that I love to hate. I was kinda pullin for him when he fought Peter, but I didn't want him to beat Sammy worse than Wlad did.

I think Toney knows this is a bad style for him and doesn't want a title shot. I think he still wants to fight, but not the Klitschkos.

`I don't care what hall of fame they put Toney in he is getting his face punched in against Wlad. Those that believe Toney can even be competitive against Klitchko had better wake up. Toney was outclassed by Frez in a fight most believe Frez won. I will tell you this much Toney will be sorry for Klitchko sisters comment he loves to use with as much disrespect possable. No doubt Wlad will carry him untill he face is a bloody mess then khtfo. Toney will be beaten like he stole something. The slow over weight heavyweight pretender is way too slow to avoid the shots that will be slamming flush into his face. This matchup is a joke that will result in a one sided beatdown.

Funny how some of you guys think that Wlad can get any fight he wants. You guys have NO IDEA how hard it is to get some of these fights signed.

Wlad has a list just like you guys do, but they dont all come together easily. Even if the fighters agree< the sanctioning bodies can stop it from happening.

We know Chef, it's never WLAD's fault.

Every time he has a voluntary he's screaming for another champ to unify with...oh, wait...

...and didn't his bro take over half the division and run interference on a potential bout with Haye this summer (at least in the past you've said it was WLAD's next fight).

    Yeah, it's never WLAD's fault. :-(

The last time, JT had a ton of options. Toney is 40 years and is looking for one last shot so I think that he would take the fight.

Another thing, Klitschko presents a difficult style for Toney but this also true vice-versa, I do not see Klitschko dealing well with Toney's style.

Chef, do you have any idea of who Wlad is going to fight next?

I thought it was going to be Arreola in May, Povetkin in August, and possibly Dimitrenko in December.

    -He has to fight Povetkin.

-HBO is hyping Arreola and he is also in the top 10 in 3 of the 4 sanctioning body rankings and Wlad hasn't fought in the states in a few fights.

-Dimitrenko could possibly be a mandatory and he is also the same size and nationality.

    Any insight would be great?

    Thanks.

You do realise that his last voluntary defence was a unification? And his last voluntary defence before that against Brock in 2006? For two years he hasn't been fighting anything other than mandatories + one unification.

I am aware of who he has fought.

Brock was voluntary as you mentioned, but Lyakhovich happened to be WBO champ at the time (with a victory over WLAD conqueror Brewster) and was screaming in the media about how he KOd Brock with headgear on for 5 minutes...and that he wanted to unify against KLIT.

There is almost always a route boxing fans would rather see him take than the one he chooses.

Even now, the fight the fans want to see is gone...WLAD vs. Haye. David Haye is the latest victim of the KLIT flip. Chef even said that WLAD planned to take that as his next fight...but then ViTKLiT flew to the David Haye fight, and ran interference for little bro...:-(

...and yeah he unified against IGGY, but all he did was step on his foot and slap the whole fight.

Toney would never dare step in the ring against the Klit's, he already wobbled off when he was offered the chance, the guy is a fraud, and a coward, stick him in against plodding zombies, its about his level.

But he is not an ATG at heavyweight. Wlad would outbox him for a few rounds, contrary to what some Toney fans might think, and then knock Toney out. Remember, in their first fight, Wlad completely outboxed a fine boxer in Chris Byrd, who had made some other heavyweights look foolish.
