According to Bild, a German newspaper Wladimir says: I will defend my first WBO title in July against USA Fighter Tony Thompson."

It will take place in Germany on PPV for $49.99.
    j/k WCB per usual :D

As for Vitali, the fight with Peter will occur before the Olympic games (August). However, he still plans on running for mayor of Kiev (May 24).

    My picks:
    Wlad tko 6 Thompson
Vitali tko 1 Goat Herder or Training Camp UD Vitali :yep

If Vitali wins the election, I doubt he will fight Peter, there would be just too many things in his way to fight Peter, I wish Vitali would just stay the hell out of the ring, and quit ****ing everyone around.

I am now grinning EAR TO EAR, after hearing that Vitali WILL fight Peter.

This will be THE fight to see.........Peter will take a beating at the hands of the big Klitschko. I see Peter being KOed in a onesided affair.

    Go, VITALI!!!!!!!!!!

Vitali by late KO. CLEAN KO> !!!!!!!!!

Both Wlad vs Thompson and Vitaly vs Peter will probably be staged in Germany. There is rumour that Vitaly vs Peter will be the main event for the inaguarating ceremony of one of europe's most modern indoor arenas in Germany's capital Berlin.
I guess that the 20,000 tickets for Vitaly vs Sam will be sold out within 20 minutes ,but I am going to try to get some tickets.
Anyway! I wont have to pay to watch it on German tv-for free.

If we were talking about the Vitali of four-five years ago, I'd agree. But the man hasn't fought since the end of 2004, and he's been plagued by injuries since then. Who knows if he'll even get out of training camp, lete alone beat the #2 heavyweight in the world?

I see only one Klitschko winning and that is Wlad who will probably outpoint Thompson. However, I think Peter beats Vitali. The inactivity and injury worry will play a part in Peter giving Vitali a real tough time. Peter is no mug and has improved of late.

That is the beauty of it; that Vitali has the confidence to fight Peter, COLD. And will probaly lay Peter out, COLD, in the process.

Peter is tailor made for Vitali. Vitali is on another level, entirely, that Peter is, and everyone knows it. Even at 75% of what he was in 2004, Vitali still beats Peter like a rented mule. :good

Vitali is a *****, he ducked out of his fight against Rahman 4 times, which had never seen a man backout so many times in the 44 year existence of the WBC belt. Vitali has ****ed over not only fans, but his oppenents alike, by backing out at the minute, yet the WBC gave him yet another chance, I hope Peter takes his head off in this fight, and retires him for good.

SOMEONE's head is coming off, yes, but I doubt it'll be Vitali's.

    :good

OH, YEAH!!!! I sense another Danny Williams type beating for Peter. That will be the outcome, and you probably expect that, too, although you won't admit it, Punisher, my good man.

Will see, though my perdiction still stands, Training Camp KO's Vitali in the first round again. If the fight does happen to come off, it should be exciting, which is more than I could say for the division itself.:yep

If I recall correctly, when someone posted that Vital would not take the fight, I think you replied that you also expected Vitali to punish Peter.

    Correct?

If so, you are wise in that pick. And now that the fight is back on, we stand in agreeance on the outcome. Forget the not making it through camp nonsense. He'll make it fine, and we all know it.

When this fight happens, I see Peter being bludgeoned about the head with hard straight right hand powerhots, til he falls to the canvas, as Don King looks on in horror.

Then, King will step over Peter's fallen body, and make his way over to congradulate Vitali, in hopes of getting a piece of his next fight. LOL
