Ater Vitali beats Haye in sept, his last 3 opponents will have been Haye, Juan Carlos Gomez, and Samuel Peter. Wlad's will have been Chagaev, Rahman, and Tony Thompson.

So who will have been facing the higher quality opposition in their last three fights?

    Vitalis opponents are better.

Mainly because fighting Rahman was a stupid idea.

Id go with Even, but slightly more cred to Vitali only becose Wlad fought a shell of Rahman, all the other names mentioned are in their mid stages / primes of their careers.

Right now probably Vitali but if Wlad gets a next fight with Arreola or Povetkin, I'd say him..

Glad you made the poll public.

    Will expose the Wlad nuthuggers.

Obviously Vitali but if you go through their entire careers it's Wlad.

There's an argument to say that if you ranked these fighters in an individual order of 6, then Vitali's opponents would take the top 3 spots.

I voted Wlad but i think both of their opponents where fairly similar.

I based it mainly on Wlad beating Chagaev.

I think its a close call. But as a good expert, you know that when you pick a fighter over another, you're a nuthugger. :tired

Are u kidding me? Many people going into the fight, thought Peter would win (Peter was the favorite) or at least make it a good fight. Peter is still in his prime, had showed improved boxing ability (2nd Toney Fight, McCline fight) and had just destroyed Maskaev to win the belt. Rahman hasn't won a significant fight in years and last looked good against Toney (in their 1st fight) 3 years ago or so. People now say Peter has plateaued because of 1 sided loss to V. Klitschko and his recent loss to Chambers. But going into the fight (against V. Klitschko) Peter was considered the #2 fighter in the division, while Rahman was barely top 15 (maybe top 20).

    This is how they rank:

    1. Chagaev
    2. Gomez
    3. Haye
    4. Thompson
    5. Peter
    6. Rahman

    Vitali 3.33, Wlad 3.66

So Vitali's opposition is slightly better, but that's because of Rahman, had it been Povetkin, how it was supposed to be, it would be Wlad.

Wladimir only fought Rahman because he became the mandatory when Povetkin withdrew due to injury. This way WK fullfilled his mando to make way for a voluntary defense against Haye.

Well i meant to vote for Vitali.. but it is even.

Thompson-Peter it is even coz peter was as out of shape as it gets Even
Gomez Clearly is better than Rahman Vitaly takes it
Haye-chagaev It is even IMo Chagaev was good boxer before he was Wlad:yep
