Maybe because Lennox is old, retired, and nobody even takes what he says about any comebacks seriously? Lennox said that AS A JOKE, as a way of saying that he wasn't returning to boxing. Only someone really slow wouldn't pick up on his sarcasm.

Valuev on the other hand, is the WBA champ. I would think that people would want to see him in a unification fight right? I don't think his brother holds the other titles, does he? There is no excuse for a current champ or his promoters to be openly ducking a unification fight. It makes the already worthless WBA strap even more worthless.

 

Well I dont know what it is. Valueless is saying they've never even received an offer, so IDK. But the Clits, both title holders, saying in an interview that they wanna unify is ******ed. Its like a man and a woman both saying "we want sexual partners to have kids"

 

Why? The point is that they want the belt in the family. They are making it clear that EITHER of them is open and willing to fight him. So, Valuev can make his choice about whichever he feels would be his best route. I don't see anything wrong with that. Shouldn't every Champ want to unify? They are simply enjoying the fact that they have achieved their lifelong goal. Let them bask in it for a while, because I am sure that Vitali won't be boxing much longer.

:huh Why are you even presenting that as a question? Wlad has been seeking out all of the best fighters. Not only that... but have you noticed that Valuev seems to be doing what you are saying? Shouldn't that criticism of yours be thrown Valuev's way... not in the direction of the fighters trying to make the biggest fights happen?

 

You gotta look at it from another POV. If they get all the belts, are they just going to try to keep the belts in the fam as long as possible, even if that means fighting weak mandos?
