Arreola had an offer, for months! And Arreola flat out turned it down. I guess he didn't want to cry in the ring again.
Really liking Wlads activity staying busy and taking on who ever will step forward Wach has a nice unbeat record, matches him on the tale of the tape and has a good chin Wlad has impressed me in his last 2 KO's, they were quicker and very precise
Povetkin- pussied out of fighting Wlad twice, will ***** out a third time in January or whenever he has the mandatory deadline Haye- lost a shutout UD against Wlad Adamek- dominated for 10 rounds by Vitali Solis- won the event against Vitali, but lost the fight Chambers- brutally KO'd by Wlad Price- not ready Fury- "give me the Klitschkos!" and then fights C-level cab-drivers and former baseball players
This post is a joke right? Wach has a padded record and is unproven at the top level. Only recognizable names on his record are McBride and Tye Fields, and these are hardly top HWs, but only slightly above the journeyman level... And now he's getting a title-shot. Wach is Wlads 4th fight in two years, that can hardly be called 'staying busy'. And even if the HW division is poor, nobody can honestly tell me that he couldn't have found a better opponent than Wach. Please... And don't even get me started on Wlads last two fights... Mormeck was an old, over the hill and small CW who has never done anything at HW and was inactive for over a year before facing Wlad. Complete farce of a fight. Thompson has done close to nothing since getting KOed by Wlad for the first time, he was old too and also inactive for over a year before facing Wlad for the second time. Again, this fight was a joke. No wonder Wlad looked impressive against such weak opponents and KOed them fast... The truth is that Wlad is throwing his prime away with these ridiculous fights and instead of getting upset, the Klitschko nuthuggers are cheering all the way. They will get to see a nice KO again against Wach, but it will be worthless, that's how it is. I was a fan of Wladimir a long time ago, but I won't even waste my time watching these crap fights. Wlad is part of the reason why the HW division is **** and its popularity rapidly declining.
Wach both has reach and height advantage, so this will indeed be interesting to see how Wladimir reacts to it, it is a high risk low reward fight for Wladimir, because the reach could potentially cause him some problems. But still expects him to KO Wach.
Haters always ***** about his competition. Who is out there that Wlad isnt fighting who in return is willing to step up?
Slim to none. All i ask of the giant is to let his hands go wild a few times to see how Wlad reacts. It's the only time Wach is dangerous when he lets the giant windmill arms of his run free.
Massive gulf in class, i cant see Wach landing a single decent punch. Terrible fight really, but I guess there aren't too many willing opponents who are better.
Exactly. Wach took the fight like any other Top20 ranked challenger should take. It's now or never. Arreola, Fury, Mitchell, Povetkin are NOT ready :conf Take it as what it is.
:deal Arreola supposedly has a hurt elbow, Mitchell hurt his hand and already has a Nov. fight scheduled vs. Banks. Both of whom make sense only if Wlad were returning back to the States to fight. Their about the only two names that would help sell seats in America, why waste it in a fight in Germany? Povetkin has scheduled fight, ducked twice, and will have to make a decision soon on whether to duck a third mandatory Haye already lost, needs a few good fights to build interest in another one, plus he's waiting for Vitali's decision. Adamek says he still needs time and wants to wait until 13'' for another shot, after getting smashed by Vitali Pulev/Unistov are already scheduled against each other in the finale IBF eliminator. Fury/Price both have said their not ready, with Fury hinting at the fact he's waiting for a mandatory, so he earns more money. Chambers/Thompson already beaten. And rumors are Chambers is going down to CW Hellinous/Solis are both coming back from injuries and I'm sure they would need a few tune up fights, to get the rust off, and test their bodies back out. Boystov,Pianeta Would get just as many complaints as Wach is, do to their lack of competition as well. Grant is 40yrs old and just as slow as Wach Cunningham would be another CW which would bring more bashing, of Wlad not fighting somebody as large and natural HW like Wach Chagaev already beaten and possibly done, should he lose to Fury if that fight comes off Etc.Etc... Is Wach the best challenger out of those mention, no way, but he's not to far away from some of them. Along with his height, reach, weight, and unbeaten record, he should help bring a larger audience their in Europe due to his Polish heritage.
