Wlad anticipates and parrys very well, tough to hit his chin. His foot work is also excellent. He clinches a lot like most big men, but inbetween he blocks and evades a lot of punches. He doesn't bite on feints either, one of the best at that.
Tyson has a chance for an upset, Wlad brutally destroys everyone else. Holmes is shut out and ko'd late, he's basically a smaller, poor man's Wlad without the power. Why is it so hard to understand that boxing is just like all other sports? Athletes progress.
yup, most of these guys would destroy wlad in seconds if a failure from the 90s, now totally shot, can do that. why is it so hard to understand? I'm not making it up, it really happened.
Guys from the 80's moved a lot. They had legs. Anybody who watched fights from the era knows that. One of the very few guys Wlad fought that moved like an 80's fighter was DaVarryl Williamson. Wlad was thoroughly exposed by Williamson - getting floored then quitting after only the 4th round. Holmes would utterly embarrass Wlad and he would be stopped late by guys like Thomas , Tucker , Spoon and early by Smith and Douglas.
Haha because the arguably the most ferocious, and devastating HW, not to mention the biggest draw is the underdog? good post dino
