Wladimir Klitschko looking forward to busier 2010

``You could say I am very anxious to get back in the ring,'' Klitschko said Friday. ``I definitely want three fights this year after what I went through last year.''

``Last year, Vitali was busier than me, so now I have to catch him,'' Klitschko said of his brother's three victorious fights in 2009.
``I am feeling great and have no ill effects from my injury.''

``I would love to fight at AmericanAirlines Arena,'' he said. ``I was at a Miami Heat game last year and was impressed with the arena.
``Right now, the fights have to go to Europe, but I am targeting one fight in the United States this year -- perhaps two. We have to hope there is a broadcaster that will step in and help make it happen.''

``Eddie Chambers is my former sparring partner and has improved a lot,'' Klitschko said. ``I will not underestimate him. He had a great performance against Alexander Dimitrenko, who is taller than me. ``I definitely expect a tough challenge.''

Wlad had an inactive 2009, though it wasn't all his fault. With Chambers up soon, and then Povetkin possibly in the summer that leaves him with a chance to fight a third time in late 2010. Chambers, Povetkin, and if he does get a third fight in and against someone signifigant like Haye then Wlad could have a very impressive 2010. If everything fell into place and Wlad wins his fights against those guys he could be in the running for fighter of the year, something heavyweights don't do anymore.

Chambers, Povetkin, and either Adamek/Arreola/Haye sounds pretty good. Especially, the Adamek/Arreola/Haye matchup.

I could see Wlad fighting Chambers in March then Povetkin in July than another fight in December.

3 fights is what he needs.

It's gonna be hard for him to fight in America after the pathetic display with Ibragimov.

    The fight was terrible.

Boring fights are cool in Germany. Not really in the US.

If you call totally dominating an opponent who refused to fight back pathetic than you should watch a different sport Chico.

It takes 2 to Tango & Sultan didn't want to dance.

Foget Arreola getting yet another title shot. Maybe Boytsov, eveything i'v read makes it sound like him and his team are going to make a run for it this year.

He just had a fight last weekend, if he steps up against a top ten guy and wins he could be in line for a shot.
