Wlad Wants 3 Fights this Year - Targeting 1 in the US

That fight certainly did hurt his popularity in the states, which particularly impressive at the time. Perhaps a fight with big American heavyweight. Wait, I forgot...there aren't any. Really the only fight Americans would buy with Wlad in it would be him against his brother, and that will never happen.

 

Lewis's fight against Mercer did not stink. There was at least some give and take. But yes, his fights against Tua, Mavvorvich and Holifield were duds. Actually, the Holyfield fights were just as bad a the Iggy fight for Wlad. Those fight reeked!

 

And we're surprised that most American's can't find Europe on a map.

 

If you call that fight not bring then you should stop wearing the Klitschko glasses for a second.

I enjoy watching Wlad,many of his fights are entertaining,I was one of the few who enjoyed the dissesction of Chagaev.

And you're right it does take 2 to tango.

All of tat does not change the fact that fgiht was terrible to watch.And it was also his last in the States.

Wlad did nothing to force the issue in that fight, this is simply what happens when a fighter doesn't walk forward into the jab for him. Terrible showing from the supposed best HW in the world.

 

The Iggy fight wont stop Wlad from selling out no matter WHERE the fight is in the US. LA, NY, Vegas, Florida..... doesnt matter.... SELLOUT!!!:happy:happy

Absolutely. Like him or hate him, he's the best out there until somebody proves he is not.

I don't see the Haye fight happening. I can see Haye milking some cash out of that belt before he gives it away by fighting Wlad or Vitali.

The Haye/WK fight will be entertaining for about 3 rounds, and then it will be Haye eating jabs and right hands, dancing around trying to avoid the action, and flurry at the end of the rounds to try to steal a decision like he did to get the belt in the first place.

It wasn't a boring fight, it was atctical masterclass, he beat up Iggy and hardly got hit. Is boxing the only sport that people can't appreciate good quality skillful displays?
