    It's EXACTLY what HBO did.

They just lock down the dates, with out knowing WHO they are gonna get!! It's crazy.

K2 have no right to say another promotional group cant be involved. I don't know what the issue is with this fighy in particular but I was talking about the quote in its broader sense.

Boente is vermin and a disgrace to the Klitschkos. They deserve much better.

It has not been "disproven". It has been "explained". Barklays management wanted Klitschko fight on October 20th and Golden Boy exercised exclusivity clause to keep the date open. GB did not book that date they just wanted to keep it open.

Then it's Ratner's own fault for signing GBP to an exclusive deal. GBP announced at least 6 months ago that they're having a fight at the Barclay's Center on that date. Despite having an exclusive deal, GBP seems to be open to allowing other promoters' fights there (which they don't have to do), but I can understand them not wanting a different promoter to (a) take a date that they've already announced they're putting a card on for and (b) have the first boxing card in the history of the arena, which is of some importance.

As a compromise, what about Wlad vs. Seth Mitchell on that date? Seem to get the best of both worlds that way, since Mitchell is with GBP, and frankly his recent resume isn't any worse than Arreola's. Or Klitschko could still fight the same opponent in the same arena on a different date. Or he could fight the same opponent in a different arena on the same date.
