If odds were made for that fight Wilder would not be a 4/1 underdog or anything remotely as wide. How many opponents did Wlad fight with the length, power, speed, toughness, determination, killer instinct, unconventionality and championship experience of Wilder? Wlad went through a 2.5 year period in his career from 2003-2005 when he was facing punchers regularly and he was stopped twice, was dropped in most of those fights and 10 times collectively by Sanders, Brewster, Williamson and Peter 1.

 

Vlad was certainly the better puncher, yes. Wilder has some scary KO's because he commits 100% and is defensively irresponsible when he throws. Vlad can throw with power while rarely being countered - Wilder is WIDE open.
