Wlad-Wilder is bigger than Wlad-Stiverne (assuming D.W beats B.S)

Am I the only one here who thinks that Wlad-Wilder is a whole lot better than Wlad-Stiverne?

In a fight with Stiverne, Wlad would pretty much be up to his same **** with a huge height and reach advantage. And in all likelihood would unify easily. Im not knocking Stiverne and it's good to see his success.

    BUT

In a fight with Wilder, we'd see someone who can match Wlad for height, reach AND power (assuming his power is the real deal)

It would be the heavyweight of today, against the possible heavyweight of tomorrow. It'll answer questions about both Wlad and Wilder.

If Wlad beats Wilder, he'll be unified champion and we'll know how he dealt with a very good fighter. (assuming he beats Stiverne because IMO Stiverne is very good but lacks the size/speed to trouble Wlad)

If Wilder beats Wlad, we'll have our heavyweight champion for the future and we'll know he's the real deal. He'd be going in the Wlad fight with a solid youth advantage too.

If Stiverne goes on to bypass Wilder for Wlad, and he loses. Wlad will have no reason to face Wilder, and would have more mandatories than ever seeing that he'd be unified champ. The Wilder fight probably wouldnt even happen.

If Stiverne fights and loses to Wilder ( not saying he WOULD ) the incentive for Wlad-Wilder would be there for Wlad.

    AM I WRONG?

    Height vs Height
    Reach Vs Reach
    Power Vs Power
    Experience Vs Youth/Potential
History Made Vs History In The Making
    Perogies Vs Fried Chicken

    LETS GET IT!! :fire:fire

I wouldn't mind it, actually I would love to see it, but, frankly, I doubt it happens. Wilder will not jump on the best fighter for the last decade.

Definitely better than Klitschko vs. Stiverne in that case, because Wilder would have proven to be better than Stiverne by beating him, and realistically Stiverne's chances against Wladimir would be minimal. Deontay at least has reach and height.

Also, if Klitschko was to defeat Stiverne before the Wilder fight, I believe that he'd definitely aim Wilder assuming he's done with Pulev. So far everything has been indicating that Klitschko's future fights are supposed to be WBC belt, Pulev, Fury/Chisora winner and an American contender (Wladimir indicated a few times that it's Wilder). If Wilder holds that belt by the time Klitschko gets to him, it would be an even fight than fighting unproven Wilder without the belt.

With that said, neither guy has much of a chance against Wladimir for different but obvious reasons. It would be nice to see Klitschko fighting Pulev first.

It will be a huge fight, this will not be a one sided fight it will be alot of feinting and basically whoever connects with a right hand is gonna win

Wlad usually does better and is more aggressive against taller fighters. Wilder simply isn't ready and is a one armed bandit he only has a right hand.

Wilder vs wlad is definitely a more interesting fight, wilder won't get leaned on and if he lands that right hand who knows what will happen.

Cue farmboxer coming in here copying and pasting some boring paragraph about wlad and wilder sparring in 3, 2, 1...

Both Wlad-Stiverne and Wlad-Wilder are great fights. They are top guys, both can crack, Stiverne has a great chin while Wilder has a size advantage. Would pay to see both.

When has equal or greater height and reach helped an opponent vs Wlad? He's steam rolling tall opponents, and Wilder is **** :patsch

Not sure if D. Wilder is ready for Wladimir this soon. Sure, Wilder has had 31 fights, but he's fought very few Pro rounds. He's got a LOT of potential, but he's really still green imo. All those people wanting him to have his career rushed really just wanted to see him lose. With the right team and management, the guy has the potential to be very special.

Wladimir has a definite experience and skill advantage in this match-up. He'd nullify D. Wilder's chances of landing anything as a result. If Wilder beat Stiverne and had a few defenses, then the Wladimir fight would be built up as a mega bout. And by then, who knows... it might actually be a little competitive on top of that.

Wladimir Klitschko is the best at "hitting and not getting hit" in the HW ranks. So far, I can't see that changing.

Wlad is normally more agressive and does better against tall fighters.

Stiverne has a decent to good chin. Wilder's chin is still on the unknown side and both of them will get hit hard vs. Klitschko. Stiverne needs to have an ATG chin to beat Klitschko because he has a tendency of dragging his left back after a jab, leaving himself open for a counter right hand and Stiverne doesn't defend against the left hook very well. He got away with it against Arreola, who was skilled enough to make those particular deficits noticeable but lacked the power to capitalize on them. Klitschko will be a different story.

Wilder vs Wlad will probably sell better than Stiverne vs Wlad. If Wilder beats Stiverne, Wlad will probably offer enough money to get him to fight him next.

I doubt Wilder is carrying more power than Stiverne.
