I don't wish to go over the facts again and again, you know all of them by now (I hope).

To me, I judge every boxer based on my understanding of the sport. The hardest part is not to get to the top, its to stay on top. That is what makes guys like May, Rigo, Wlad so impressive, is that they find motivation to be the best they can be, year after year, challenge after challenge, belt after belt. That discipline, the sheer power, the footwork, the will to win, they make Wlad a nightmare for any fighter from any era.

I do not have a time machine and there is no way to say with absolute certainty that he would have beaten the past greats. To the trained eye, however, Wlad shows so many cues of greatness that one would have to have an agenda to disregard them.

PS: Ring magazine has him #2 P4P in the world right now. That is a list compiled by boxing experts.

His opposition is stellar for the division. He literally fought EVERYONE, all the guys people would say he would duck. His brother at the moment remains the only other legit top 10 boxer he did not fight.

PS: I am not really a fan of his anymore. Povetkin fight was so bad that it ruined hw boxing for me. But at the moment, his greatness is axiomatic.

Like i said, there is no time machine, and no way to tell how the fights against past greats would go.

That being said though, in our time, with our boxing landscape, you wouldn't bet any significant amount of money on any fighter against Klitschko.

That is the bottom line that defines his greatness. Hate him or love him, you won't bet against him with your own hard earned cash.

Man i have to disagree! This era of HW sucks really bad. Its the worst ever. Add to it that he outweights most of his opponents by 20 pounds.

Ali would get out pointed easily he's just to small and Lewis would be kod. Lewis was great against good little men but never faced a skilled big man until vitaly and then retired at a young age of 37.

If Vlad fights like he has been sparring, he will knock Jennings out, probably early......

You were never in it you absolute moron.

You failed to answer everything I asked you.

Would Tyson have been the phenomenon he was if he lost in two rounds to Holmes , fought Spinks to a boring safety first UD and fought in a stiff , ugly robotic style with none of his famous speed , aggression and movement ?

If all Wlad needed to be was AA, where are his Foremans, Fraziers and Listons? Where's his signature fleet of foot. Where's the graceful movement he used to float around the ring , peppering guys with a jab as he went.
Ali never did that. All he done was lay on guys shoulders identical to Wlad . You can't even tell the difference between them.:nut:nut

How come Wlad didn't rope-a-dope Brewster if he's the white Ali?
Why instead why he destroyed when the real Ali lay on the ropes against a guy that makes Brewster look like Mickey Mouse - took everything he had - then knocked him out.

If Wlad is the white Ali , how come he didn't go to war with Povetkin 3 times.

Where's Wlads fight of the century?
Where are his other fighter and fight of the year awards?

Show me the un natural speed in combination punching like a 60's Ali.

60' Ali was beating genuine ATGs like Liston , while Wlad at the same point was losing to journey men.
