All of a sudden he sucks because he clashed with a technically adept fighter, a fighter with as much boxing ability as himself. Look, Sultan is a nightmare for anyone in the division, his defense is remarkably good, even against an offensive phenom like Wladimir, he made Wladimir uncomfortable at all cost! Wladimirs team wanted Wlad to start putting on pressure in the 8th round, by then Sultan wasn't even tired at all, Sultan did a great job at keeping Wladimir at bay, it should of been the other way around. Wladimir could have taken a few more chances in the tenth round and forward, I agree that the fight lacked in terms of excitement.. and the boos were justified in a way.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, technically the heavyweight scene is as listed:

    1. Wladimir
    2. Ibragimov
    3. Povetkin
    4. Chagaev (Hits harder than Ibragimov, but is inactive at times)

Wladimir will want to look for the winner of Peter - Maskaev, to be recognized as THE champion of the world, but the WBC is being aimed at by Vitali, so it may take another year or so before we see the true champ in the division.
Peter will hopefully get past Maskaev, and then face off with Wladimir again, where Wlad can take care of unfinished business.

Wladimir vs. Povetkin in late '09 will revive the heavyweight boxing scene if Wladimir - Peter(hope to god he gets past Maskaev) does not.
