It means that Lennox wouldn't just steamroll anybody in any Era.

You have to remember the resilience of the older fighters who fought under more strenuous environments. Ali fought several times a year, so did Louis and Marciano.

It's very hard to argue that the 90s was weaker than this era when there was Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis ATG fighters with a very deep supporting cast. But the fact that George Foreman was able to win a title speaks volumes about the quality of fighters from different eras. Larry Holmes beat an undefeated Ray Mercer when he was 42.

The reality is that while the Klitschko brothers are great fighters to suggest that their size and strength would give them carte blanche domination in older era's is simply misguided.

History has shown that skill can make size irrelevant and this is clear by how exceptional Light Heavyweight's have made the journey north into HW territory and still fought successfully.

Gene Tunney, Ezzard Charles, Micheal Spinks, Micheal Moorer, Tomasz Adamek have effectively proven that a size disadvantage can be overcome by skills.

So no, Vitaly can Wlad do not get automatic wins or dominance for yesterday's era's. And neither does Lennox for that matter.

Tomasz Adamek beat Chris Arreola who is arguably one of Vitaly's best wins.
He did that with skill. Evander Holyfield lost a competitive and quite possibly disputed decision against Valuev. This means that a quality fighter makes this myth about size being irrelevant. At least when it comes to Heavyweights.
