HAHAHAHAHA.. When Barrett was using his jab, he was able to keep Haye at bay. It's when he decided to brawl, he got floored. Barrett's jab isn't nearly as good as Wlad's.. you draw your own conclusions.

Wlad has the fastest 1-2 in Heavyweight boxing bar none. He has better footwork, a better chin, a far superior jab, more power according to roughly 70% of the posters here at ESB, more experience, and better technique. Frankly I don't think Haye stands more than a 10% chance of upsetting Wladimir.

Haters do not understand how devastating and formidable Wladimir is. They listen to all the bulljive from gents like James Toney and you would think Wladimir is soft and fragile and scared if you were ignorant. But James Toney had his chance to step up and challenge Wladimir when Povetkin went down but James Toney showed himself to be a chicken ****. So people go into facing Wladimir thinking he's kind of hyped up but the reality is he is a freaking WRECKING MACHINE. Now Davey Haye is flapping his gums with all kinds of derogatory words for the King of the Heavyweight division. This is exactly the motivation WLadimir wants and needs. Finally to have a fight with a **** talking big mouth, like Ray I"m gonna put his chin in a box" Austin. Davey Haye is going to get slaughtered, 1,000% GUARANTEED.

And yes there are guarantees in life - if you are wise enough to detect them. Tyson-Spinks, Lewis-Tyson, Vitali-Peter, Mayweather will never ever fight Cotto or Margarito, etc.

 The difference is Barrett let his hands go, Wlad doesnt. The point being is Haye will be allowed to punish Wlad for his lack of balls..Wlad doesnt take risks anymore. He can't beat Haye with just a jab!! You're on drugs if you think otherwise

Let me ask you a serious question, at what point did you stop thinking rationally?

    Just a jab?

Everyone who's actually felt the power of that jab would disagree with you. I think it was Ray Mercer who said "getting hit by Wlad's jab is like getting hit with a 25lb. bag of sand, getting hit by the right hand is like getting hit with a 50lb. bag of cement." or something to that effect.

Mark my words, if Haye is overly aggressive early he'll be countered & KO'd early, it's that simple.

Haye's defense leaves a lot to be desired as well, he leans in & lowers his hands too much. Perfect for a Wlad lead right hand over Haye's jab.

Considering both guys chins and power I can't see it going the distance. That's the most intruiging thing about this fight.

Yes, and i mentioned in the Vitali thread, that his last 2 fights or so, Wlad has started out pawing with his left, and even hanging it out there----if he tries that against Haye, it could disaster :patsch

I disagree. I think he does that on purpose to goad the opponent into throwing a punch so he can counter. Worked like a charm against Sultan.

It's also similar to the way Vitali leans in to tempt the opposing fighter into throwing something he can counter off of.

I will argue that this was a tactic adapted for his two straight south-paw opponents and not a tactic he would use against an orthodox fighter. I will be proven right or wrong in Wlad's next fight, until then I'm just speculating.
Wlad also counter-left-hooks off that paw very effectively as well as using his long out-stretched arms to keep his opponents at bay.
Against Thompson though Wlad later abandoned the paw for a lead right when he realized he could not get his jab or left hook off. I see this as a positive sign of his ability to adapt in a fight, something he's done, or had to do, very little of in his earlier career.

It may also turn out that Haye can be a force if he uses pressure, Wlad SHOULD win he he doesn't allow Haye to Pressure him, but Wlad has not fared well against that:-(

How do you perceive Haye would deal with Wlad pressuring him? I mean, it's hard to pressure when one counter hook can send you to the ground... you know.

Wlad has the capabilities BUT he is also very vulnerable to Haye, lets face it if he panics like he did against Peter it's game over against Haye.
