end of 5th round. Wach caught him with a power shot. basically the only real clean power shot that he landed in this fight...everyone in the arena took their collective breath...but Wlad clinched and Wach missed a few follow up shots up close and the round was over. Congrats to Wlad for being a much better fighter and anticipating Wach's right all night long.

 

That punch hurt, if you specifically look at his eyes after that round you will see his eyes were wide open, clearly a sign of excitement and worry.
I respect Wladimir, but some people like to lower the standards for him, fact is he didn't fight a world class opponent last night, if he did the same against opponents like Chagaev, Haye or Chambers he would have gotten more credit from me.

 

nice performance by wlad but wach is horrible. wach is barely capable of throwing a hard punch it seems (threw like 7 all fight that weren't arm punches and weren't slower than a sundial). only thing that works is the guys chin.......

 

i dont think he was that hurt. he was stunned but people assume he was hurt because wach threw so many follow up punches. wlad has been wobbled many times in the past and he reacted far better so i dont think he was that hurt at all. and thats why wach didnt even try and jump on him in the next round

 

I don't think anyone is Rating Mitchell to beat Wladimir. People just want the fight because it would be a big fight in MSG, and could possibly help the HW standing in America.
