I can't see Mitchell beating Wlad. He's too open for a right hand, and I must say I don't know if he's got a great chin either.

But that right hand Wlad took, completely changed the momentum for a little bit. That's the thing. It was a good shot, but not a monstrous shot. Wach has no snap on that right hand at all.
Wlad goes 100% defensive when he eats anything solid. You have to wonder what happens when an opponent can land a couple of those in the same round.

But fair enough, Wlad took the shot and came back and resumed contol in the next round.

No ****, why would the TS even bring his name into the mix at this point? Wlad has been champion longer than Mitchell has even been fighting. Ridiculous thread. :-(

It was a clean shot but you're right he wasn't hurt. Momentarily stunned I would say but he had all his wits about him and dealt with the situation well, covered up nicely and tied his opponent up.

But Wach never had a chance, not even a punchers chance. Despite his size, his technique is so poor he doesn't get proper leverage or snap in his shots hence why he has such a low KO percentage.

Mitchell at least hits hard and would have a punchers chance unlike Wach. But of course against last nights Wlad who was simply amazing, Mitchell wouldn't be conscious long enough to ever land his lucky punch.

Well so what if he got buzzed? He won all the rounds and landed hard shots at will.

It's not like he looked voulnerable. He looked like a champ last night.

He was defending well and would have recovert even if the round hadn't ended but he was clearly affected by the punch he was jsut standing there taking the punches of his gloves this isn't something he normaly does. Wlad even joked in the post fight interview that it was just a "slip" he knew that he felt the punch and Mitchell has power but I don't belive he would land anything against Wlad

I didnt get to see the fight live so was following the rbr.... Everyone was talking about how hurt wlad was n all that. So when I watched the replay I was expecting to see Wlad hurt.... and what I saw was.... Wlad take a flush power punch from a huge guy, and then have the awareness to avoid everything else. That got Wlads attention, thats about it, but seriously hurt or in danger? Hardly lol.

Wach staggered Wlad a few times, when he actually decided to let his hands go. But the polish giant was too inactive, didn't throw enough shots, and Wlad jabbed his head off because of it. Boxers that fight in spurts are never going to beat the Klitschko's. You can't spend so much time going backwards when challenging for a title.

Getting buzzed by a big puncher in the heavyweight division is a crime now, is it?

I really don't see what anyone hopes to achieve by even pointing this out. Wlad got caught, took a few follow up shots on the gloves, evaded another big shot, clinched up for a moment, and then the bell rang. If that gives some people hope as to how guys like Mitchell, Price or whoever are going to beat him, then that's pretty sad really.

As it's been mentioned on here before; his seems to physically be able to take a punch, in the sense that it's not "lights out". Rather it looks like he just hates to get hit.

He seemed extremely uncoumfortable rather than physically stunned.

Mitchell would be a big underdog if they fought today. But he's fighting Banks next week and if he gets another fight or two while stepping up his competition each time than next year at this time he'd be a solid challenger. I still wouldn't pick him to beat Wlad but he'd have a better chance than he does now and his style adds some real interest to that fight.

    Another **** thread.

Klitschko was quite obviously hurt at the end of the 5th round and quite obviously beats Mitchell.
