its difficult to put in the top ten someone who needed another boxer to remain a titlist, that would be a first in history and such a boxer would be derided in history for needing such a crutch. That said, longevity commitment etc get him into top 20 for sure despite being the lowest quality long term HW champion ever. but as a side note his longevity ended back in 2012 with that 119 clinches against Povetkin disqualifying him. Since then hes never done anything of note.
Wlad has already achieved an all-time great status. To answer your question if he beats Fury and Wilder, I think you could argue Wlad for being one of the best over 40 heavyweights of all time without much debate. How much he would go up in a mythical ranking depends a bit on how Fury or Wilder's career plays out. You can also say Wlad's standing could go up a notch if Haye defeats say, Joshua or Wilder!
"Never beat an elite atg in their prime." Sound familiar to anyone? The double standards on this board are just incredible
Wlad wasn't very popular in the UK, but by beating Haye, and Fury in the re-match, you could argue he beat the best the UK had to offer in 2011 and 2016. Grudgingly, the fans of Haye and Fury would have to give him his due...and a few did not prior to fighting Haye
"he beat fury in the rematch" clearly speaking from planet kliturd, put your crystal ball away Gypsy rose doza.
Sven Ottke has an ATG ranking by default of having a long unbeaten record. He wasn't a great fighter in any way and neither is Wlad. That's what truly matters. Wlad is a HW version of Sven Ottke , except he couldn't even go undefeated in what was the worst HW Era known to humanity.
Top 5, but I weigh longevity and number of defenses heavily. I'm not going to rate Marciano over him, 49-0 or not, when Wlad's reign lasted longer than Marciano's entire career, for example, despite being a huge Marciano fan.
so you are still basing your claim on a fantasy. ok that's all anyone needs to know, business as usual in your fanshop in Ktown.
Ali fought about 20 fighters who are ranked as the greatest of all time. Wlad fought ZERO and still racked up 4 losses. Putting him in the top 5 along side Ali is an absolute disgrace and proves you ain't no true fan of the sport of boxing.
