Thats why the fight is not happening. At the end of last year K2 Promotions signed a deal with RTL the german broadcaster worth $15,000,000 for 5 fights. 3 from Wlad, 2 from Vitali. Vitali faced Briggs and Sosnowski Wlad has faced Chambers and Peter He still has one fight left on his RTL deal. He can get Chisora out of the way and go back to re-negotiate with RTL with the Haye unification as leverage to get a better deal. Haye agreed to everything. 50-50, fighting in Germany, Klitscko's come to the ring last and there name is first on the promotion. July 2nd will not happen because Haye has to fight his mandatory which will be in May or June to fit Sky PPV schedule.
1. It's 15 Million EUR, not USD. 2. We have no idea if the terms will be better in an extension of the RTL contract. Bönte has indicated they'd love to continue working with RTL. I doubt they'd push the limits trying to extort more money from them at all costs because RTL is the only option for the Klitschkos. All other German TV stations are too small and financially not strong enough. 3. Haye could pay Chagaev a step-aside fee in order to avoid the mandatory defense.
No Rob, July 2nd won't happen because it leaves Wlad only 8 weeks recovery and training time for the biggest HW fight in a decade. It's not long enough. Expect the fight to happen in September.

Why is wlad the 5th fight and not a Vitali fight against solis (assuming they were to get it on at around the same time?)
