It's quite a gap between "the top ten or so contenders may not be available" to "I'll fight the world #91", though.

    Most recent WBO top 15:

1 Tomasz Adamek - already has a fight scheduled
2 David Tua - coming off a draw with Barrett, well past his best
3 Alexander Povetkin - doesn't want the fight
4 Denis Boytsov - coming off an injury, will Universum take the risk?
5 Ruslan Chagaev - already lost to Wlad
6 Samuel Peter - just lost to Wlad for the second time
    7 Nicolay Valuev - injured
8 Odlainier Solis - seems to be going for a WBC shot
9 Alexander Dimitrenko - On his way back from loss/injury. Will his handlers take the risk?
    10 Chauncy Welliver - seriously?
11 Chris Arreola - lost to Vitali and then Adamek
12 Gonzalo Omar Basile - WHO?!
13 Sam Sexton - lost to Del Boy, these rankings haven't being update yet
14 Alex Leapai - Would be as bad as Chauncy
    15 Robert Helenius - still a novice

    Most recent IBF top 15:

    1 NOT RATED
    2 NOT RATED
    3 Tomasz Adamek
    4 Denis Boytsov
5 Eddie Chambers - KO loss to Wlad
    6 Samuel Peter
    7 Ruslan Chagaev
    8 Chris Arreola
    9 Alexander Dimitrenko
10 Jean Marc Mormeck - would be a joke of a fight. Unproven at HW, too small and too old
11 Jonathon Banks - part of Team Klitschko, Wlad's sparring partner
    12 Alexander Povetkin
    13 Odlanier Solis
14 Derrick Rossy - Putting together a run but has losses to Chambers and Dimitrenko
15 Maurice Harris - How did he end up here? Lost to Tye Fields, nuff said.

I did not realise just how pathetic the HW picture was until I looked at these rankings. Dyo know what, it's pretty difficult to blame Wlad if he takes on Chauncy in December as a keep busy.

Hey Ishy, Leapai is on a bit of a run, he would be a better option than this Chauncy fella :yep

He should just fight next weeks Prizefighter winner. I can see it now:

    Wladimir Klitschko vs Franklin Egobi!!!

    :lol::lol:

As it's only a keep busy, if a Solis or Boytsov fight can not be made I wouldn't mind if he faced Pianeta, Guinn or a comebacking Liakhovich (sp)

I think Zahid Kahut should get the call.

Aparently the IBF have refused to sanction a fight with James Toney.

He should fight Toney anyway, at least it would be interesting
