I would have Wlad around the same level of Riddick 'Chicken' Bowe......

Wlad has a better resume (Holyfield aside) but Bowe had the natural gifts.

    I rank Lewis 3 or 4 alltime.

Wlad is not in my top 10.

But Wlad's career is still ongoing.

Lewis would destroy Wlad, who just isn't tough enough to deal with Lewis.

Evander Holyfield prime makes up a lot of Tony Thompson's. He was also the heavyweight champion and not a champion.

A lot of Wladimir's ranking seems to come from H2H ability because his resume is not great. Never having become the legitimate champion and terrible KO losses along with a lot of solid contenders is not a great resume. Bowe was just as talented.

I have Lewis #1/2 H2H, perhaps #5/6 on resume..... so you are about right.

Wlad is much the same...... #10-15 on H2H, #25-30 on resume - so #20-30 is fair enough.

Vitali is #8-12 on H2H........ #30-45 on resume......

Bull ****, when ever Lewis was confronted by a big dangerous fighter he respected ie Ruddock, Golota, Grant, and Briggs he took them out, Wlad got Bulldozed by a fat 38 yr old golfer for ****s sake.

Bowe also had all the belts, and won them by beating a prime, ATG fighter. WALDO has done neither of these in his career as yet - and he's about 7 years older than Bowe was at the time :deal

Check out the look on Golotas face when Lewis floored him, then check out the look on WALDOS face every time he gets floored (there's plenty to choose from)

Lewis would have seen that footage, laughed his arse off and gone in there and bombed WALDO out, every day of the week and twice on Sunday :good

As I said, I rank Lewis 3 or 4 alltime.

Wlad is not in my top 10.

But remember, when Lennox Lewis was Wlad's age he still had the following fights in his future:

    Shannon Briggs

    Zeljko Mavrovic

    Evander Holyfield (twice)

    Michael Grant

    Francois Botha

    David Tua

    Hasim Rahman (twice)

    Mike Tyson

    Vitali Klitschko

Without these last eleven bouts, would Lennox be HOF material ?

    I believe not.

People have got out of control on this thread. On both sides of the fence. Lewis certianly does not do everything better than Wlad and neither guy has a clear techincal advantage over either guy. Thier power is very equal.

    1) Both guys have excellent Jabs. Wlad relies on his much more due to his now cautious style. Wlad has learned to conserve his energy much more effeciently. Lewis never had this problem.
    2) Wlad left hook off the jab is better than Lewis's by far.
    3) Both guys have devastating rights. However, Lewis throws his from different angles and will do so while inside. advantage lewis.
    4) Lewis has a far better uppercut and has overall better in fighting skills.

The difference in this bout is how tough lewis fights. Wlad will not be able to handle that kind of rough pressure. In the clinch lewis will make Wlad work and wear him out and rough him up. Wlad cannot handle this kind of fighter.

The outcomes of this fight are obvious. 60% Lewis breaks down Wlad over about 5 rounds and gets a tko. 30% Lewis just catches Wlad backing straight out with a huge overhand right and KO's him. 10% Wlad gets lucky and lands a big right on lewis and send him to dreamland.

The reason lewis has the advantage is he fights with far more aggression. He will do those things like wrestle and lean on the inside that Wlad does not do and Wlad will not be able to handle it.Eventually, wlad will tire and each round he will mentally become weaker. Wlad has exhibited this mental weakness on more than one occasion. it would be amplified big time versus lewis.

I mostly agree with this but would have Vitali lower on resume 45-55. Wlad by the time he is done will have broken the top 15 on resume, maybe even higher.
