Despite that fact that Lewis is all around better, this match up cpmes down to one simple thing... Wlad is not tough enough to take what Lewis can dish out. where as Lewis is tough enough to take what
    Lewis beats him quick.

I am a Wlad fan and admire his new technique and have posted as much on this site. You guys thinking this would be competitve are really missing the obvious fact that Lewis is far too rough and tough for Wlad. Look at the Vitali fight. Lewis was hitting and holding, throwing elbows, wrestling on the inside and leaning on Vitali a whole lot. Also lewis has a devastating overhand right that Wlad would eat because the way he throws his jab.

Wlad would get beaten down in this fight. He would get stopped. Lewis is too strong and physical for Wlad. Wlad looks best against boxers who give him room to operate.

How would you know that Wlad is bad in infights? Infights rarely happen with Wlad. And those that happen I don't see him losing clearly.

Lewis has long arms. Lewis arms (84'') are longer than of any other opponent of Wlad. Nevertheless Wlad's experience with tall and heavy boxers is far superior to Lewis'.

Ahem, with one of the highest KO ratios in heavyweight history, one of the biggest experience in heavyweight history and one of the most dominant performances in heavyweight history that question answers itself.

Oh **** that's almost ALL comedy gold right there, starting with the Klit-ite obsession with height and finishing with that Valuev remark..thanks buddy I'm off to bed in a bit, laughing my arse off at your total blind ignorance and lack of knowledge of the sport.

Please post a retort so I can read it in the morning and start the day with a smile.

knn- will have to agree to disagree then, I just find it extremely hard to pick Wlad over Lewis, when a past prime Lewis tore up his much tougher brother Vitali in 2003, making him look like that character from Batman, "2-face", when the fight was over.

I have been watching Wlad for many years now, and one thing I have noticed/documented, is that he dont like pressure, and when the going gets tough he melts like ice cream cone on a summer day. Between his clinching, panic attacks, and numerous knockdowns, to this day I cant understand why nonone has laid him out again in nearly 5 years since Brewster in April of 04, my only conclusion is the division is really that weak, and after watching top guys like Peter and Valuev look so terrible against inactive and middle aged fighters, is starting to make me think I'm right.

I think you need to credit wlad here as well. Wlad has started to control fights with his jab. He fights far more cautiously than he used to and is very economical with his shots. Wlad got in trouble because of his stamina issues, he has changed his style to avoid this problem and is also better now when put under pressure.

The credit goes to Steward, minimal should go to Wlad. Not all of Wlad's chin troubles came from his lack of stamina, watch him against Sanders, the man went down more times than Jenna Haze in a porn flick. You can also see how bad Wlad looked against Peter as well, the man looked terrible when he was being pressured, turning his back to his oppenent, running at one point, and clinching excessively, Wlad looked utterly scared in certain rounds of the fight and floored numerous times for his trouble, something his older brother never once looked against Peter, who completely dominated him for 8 or so rounds and got the TKO.

Wlad is not a good fighter, he's a good boxer, Lewis' is both.

I don't see how Lewis is tougher than Wlad.

Also, Wlad is taller and IMO is stronger.

Wlad was the top contender in 2001 and 2002, and Lewis didn't fight him for some reason.
