Wladamir Klitshko Vs Lennox Lewis

Wladimir certainly does not hit harder than Lewis. I do not see the type of one punch power that Lewis displayed. He always grinds guys down before putting the finishing touches on things. KO % is not everything in boxing.

Lewis knocked Rahman out cold when he was in a better condition, Wlad jabbed him to pieces first.

 

I'd go as far as saying any version of Lennox KO's any version of Wlad.

Apart from KO % what proves that Wlad punches harder than Lennox? Wlad hasn't KO'd the calibre of fighters Lennox has and his Ko's have never been as brutal or damaging as Lennox's.

Lewis does everything better than Wladimir? I disagree. Wladimir has the better, harder jab, better hook & better chin IMO. His jab is much more versatile & his footwork is awesome. Lewis has the easy edge on the inside and he has an awesome uppercut though, but right hand power is even IMO. Lewis is more aggressive but that doesn't seem to work against Wlad lately.

 

I agree with most of your post but Lewis had a good jab but Wlad's is a great jab.

I also don't think Lewis has the better chin. Wladimir has yet to be counted out, in fact he always gets back up. Both have losses to less than stellar competition, Lewis has McCall & Rahman and Wladimir has Purrity, Sanders & Brewster.

 

Lennox easily. I think it's well documented that Vitali has a much better chin than Wladimir. While he may have been behind on scorecards (though the more I watch that fight the more I think Vitali was fading and Lennox coming on) some of the shots he hit Vitali with would have sent Wladimir into la-la land.

 

I would say conditioning has little to do with punch resistance. :yep

Purrity, Sanders and Brewster are worse losses than McCall and Rahman. Purrity was a journeyman, Sanders was a golfer and Brewster was never that good anyway.

 

Answer the question genius, how does Lennox have the tougher chin when he was KO'd for the count by "the amazing" Hasim Rahman? Wlad was knocked down multiple times vs. Sanders but he got up each time & those knockdowns were more the result of not knowing what to do vs. a southpaw than "chin."
