I guess it depends who they fight in parallel universes - if it's each other I doubt it.

Seriously - this isn't even competitive, don't compare their durability its silly.

I hate myself for even replying but the Dog-wank guy that started this needs help

I like to think I'm reasonably fair minded...but I'd give Wlad practically no chance at all against Lewis.

I don't think he has the fortitude, the minimum qualification for stepping up to Lewis is utter fearlessness.

Wlad would be live but an underdog imo. Lewis at his best has the length, skill and power to get wlad out of his comfort zone and force the fight into street brawl at some point...where lewis clearly has shown he can be successful at....wlad hasn't been too exceptional in this area so it could become a battle of durablity and lewis does have the clear edge here. More specifically, Lewis' ability to deliver hard shots from long-range from different angles would cause some big problems for wlad.

However, wlad cannot be discounted at all. His size, power, skill, speed and intelligence make him very dangerous to lewis at all times who could get lazy during fights. something tells me though, lennox would be at his best facing wlad-lewis was no dummy (despite his comical HBO commentary :yep)

65-35; Lewis on pts or late stoppage.

Hell no. Wlad is just now coming into his own... When the division is bone dry. He was getting his block knocked off a few years back. Lennox would have put him out. Wlad doesn't recover well after being in trouble.

Right. So if prime Lewis were around today, Wlad would refuse to enter the ring, then? And all of Lewis' opponents were utterly fearless. I think all fighters have fear to some degree, but some manage it better than others. No sane man is completely fearless of being hit clean by a pro fighter.

If Rahman and McCall got him on a bad day, obviously Wlad has a chance as well. The man's not invincible and Wlad has the tools to take him out (I agree that Wlad could get into a situation where he was too cautious to capitalize on a Lennox mistake, though)

Everytime Wlad has faced a puncher, he has either hit the canvas or was knocked out. What does that tell you? Lewis would more and likely have Wlad doing a panic attack in the middle of the ring, before he puts him to sleep with a devastating uppercut when Wlad tries to clinch. Unlike Wlad, Lewis is a good inside fighter, who can deliver an uppercut on cue. In all the years I seen Wlad fight, I might of seen him throw it a handful a times, most of which was before Steward got ahold of him.

Lewis would rough Wlad up before taking him out. Lewis and Wlad are equally as strong physically, mentally theirs no comparing "The Lion" to the glass heart and chin Wlad has when faced with adversity.

I think you might be overstating Lennox's level of agression in this fight. I think he'd show some respect for Wlad's power/skill and not try to blitz him early (despite the advice he allegedly gave Sanders).

Again, I'm talking in probability terms. On a good night, Wlad certainly could take out Lennox. The question is who is more likely to win, and I think Lennox is clearly more likely to win.

Pure unaddultered bull manure. A barely 80 % fit Lewis nearly decapitated Vitali A 100% fit Lewis would have. Wlad would have no chance against Lewis. The first Lewis right hand bomb lands & its.... How do you say TIMBER!!!!!!!!!! in Ukranian LOL :bbb

Look, Wlad is terrified to fully engage against even the most feathery fisted fighters, even when he holds all of the cards physically. He's a very good champion regardless and has a shedload of tools but ultimately he's too meek and fearful to ever stand a chance at defeating an on-song Lewis. I'm not knocking his achievements because he's done very well to get where he has but unless he receives a total personality transplant he loses this one 10/10 times.

Thats exactly how I see Wlad. He's extremely skilled, just lacks the toughness needed to beat another great big man like Lewis.

I few Wlad as the poor man's Lennox Lewis, nothing more.

First Wlad KO's Tyson and now he KO's Lewis.

    This is getting really pathetic...

Next thread: Wlad would KO God.
