Don't think Lewis had **** stamina. All the punches he landed against Tyson and movement he had to use he was still throwing punches with serious power all the way to the end. Yes I know Tyson was shot, the point here is Lewis was still able to land way too many power punches and endless jabs without showing any signs of tiring. He also landed quite a lot against the likes of Tua, Mercer, Holyfield and many others. I think it's safe to say that if he had **** stamina and ran out of gas against fighters with the aggressive style as Tua and Mercer they would have eaten him alive for it. Wladimir has way more examples of tiring than Lewis.
I was waiting for someone to make that statement...all the excuses that have been thrown around by Klit-ites over the years about WALDO's stamina issues in his losses, and all of a sudden he has a massive stamina advantage over Lewis
Sure but I think it's safe to say that Lennox would be more aggressive, and that would skew the odds in his favor. E.g. if Lennox came out very aggressive, would Wlad be confident enough to capitalize on early-round mistakes? (don't think Lennox would want to come out too aggressive but if we're playing the 'if they fight 10 times' game then we can consider multiple possibilities)
Wlad takes this. He destroyed the very same Ray Mercer that Lewis went life and death with. Oh and wlad has better foot and handspeed along with amazing heart and stamina. Plus wlad has never been kod cold. Lewis stuggled to ko golota in 1 round. Golota ducked wlad. Wlad is the biggest puncher ever etc etc.
C'mon freddy, this is wack! I like Wlad but the way you describe what he'd do to Lennox is absurd! Tire him out by making him miss? Lennox would essentially be eye to eye with Wlad and works off the jab just like him....he's not many of the shorter fighters Wlad has fought who miss so bad due to reach disadvantage and legs not quick enough to close the gap. Plus Lennox did not get overly sloppy unless he was out of shape. Add to that the fact he is the aggressor versus large heavyweights. In close Lennox would do damage with his nasty right uppercut and chopping right over the top...his strength would allow him to position Wlad for those shots at some point. Wlad would tire out tying up so much to prevent Lennox from working inside. Lennox is bad news for Wlad and the old version gave Vitali(who was closer to his own prime than Lennox) all he could handle. Oh you and stop with the tired as hell 'Lennox used his dreadlocks to cheat his way to victory' bs. Watch the fight a few more times. A Flush overhand right busted Vitali's face open, and for the remainder of the fight he drew a bead on the cut with his right hand....not by rubbing his hair on it like all the Klitschko fan boys/Lennox haters(not all Klitschko fan boys hate Lennox, but the delusional superfans hate him just based on the fact that he has a win over Vitali and they have to reach to find some way...any way to take that away from him) Maybe if a heavyweight the calibre of Lennox was around then the Klitschkos could have someoneto give them the chance to truly legitimize their legacy. Much more so than the overmatched opposition they have now.
If Wlad was that tentative against Chambers, just imagine him against Lewis. Wlad will throw jabs all night, Lewis iwll catch him with a bit right hand, ligths out!
Your humour is too deep for some of the basic one-track minded "thinkers"(aka blind sack swingers) of this site to process
Well you're right about that. Anyway who say this fight saw a different fight, one without a headbutt in it..one that had Lewis winning the last round on all the cards as Vitali was drapped over him from a hellacious upper cut. That's the fight me and the other millions of people saw.
When you watch that 'iron chin' clip, there are a few thing that stand out. - Every clip of Lewis against Vitaly - Lewis, no matter what Vitaly lands, keeps coming forward and throwing punches. Don't think that's happened to vitlay before or since. - Where are the fat dudes? Even the B level fighters on that clip were in shape. - Despite the way it ended up for him, I admire Michael Grants balls. That was really the only way he was going to win, so he went for it balls and all. Good on him. A few recent challengers may want to take note. He lost, but had more chance of winning that using his gloves for earmuffs for 12 rounds. At least he gave himself a shot. - Wlad is very very good without doubt. The main difference really is I think Lewis can fight hurt, and did a fair bit. I don't think Wlad can. (or he might be able to, but I've never seen it). Wlad goes down when he gets hurt or rattled(as the 12 or 13 KD's show). Lewis only ends up on the canvas when he's really ****ed up. (and to be really picky, I've seen fighters be allowed to carry on when in far worse shape than Lewis was against McCall. Holy v Cooper is one. Wasn't the worst stoppage I've ever seen, but as champ, you might expect to at least be given another 30 seconds or so, and if the other guy is landing unanswered, then stop it)
So you're calling Briggs a bum and yet you were claiming how much of threat RAY AUSTIN was?!?! And to answer your question Yes I do think wlad would be down from that shot as well, anyone could.
Not really. Lewis wouldn't beat him worse that Sanders did. I mean Sanders beat him pretty bad. Unfortunate actually, who know what could have happen if they fought. And please dont tell me yo know for sure. This is Boxing. People get staggered all the time.
OH NOT YOUR HERO LENOX NO WAY HUH ?atsch WLAD WOULD OF MURDERED THE HIM.. I KNOW ATS HARD FOR YOU TO GET INTO YOUR SCULL CUZ MEMORY'S ARE ALL YOU GOT LEFT . WLAD KLITSCHKO ATG "BRUTHA"
