I usually like to make a case for the other guy, but it is difficult. Wlad's stiff style is great against short guys, but when he has his height and reach completely nullified he can't do any magic.
You're right it could have happened regardless of who he faced but it happened against lewis, you could see it in his face from the moment they squared up in the ring. So you're absolutely right we'll never know for sure what it was that made him freak out like that, but imo it had all to do with lennox and the fear that mccall felt. We'll agree to disagree...
Do you think lewis would stand up to power punches from a large and powerful puncher like wlad who would connect almost at will on him. If his brother was outlanding him im sure he would too.
Umm Lewis weigh in at 256 pounds in which is his highest weight in his career lol and was coming off a year layoff. Also Lewis been in many wars in which most fighters will take it's tool. Yes Lewis was 37 years old and most of the time of that age, that fighter won't be the same. Hell Vargas retired at 29 years old cause he already been too many wars. Morales ain't the same since he got destroyed by Manny and that was way under 30. But man come on anybody with a brain knows Lewis weighing at 256 pounds is out of shape and coming off a year layoff and been in many wars wouldn't be the same fighter he once was.
How many Lewis fights have you actually watched?? and how many Wlad fights have you actually watched?? Wlad connecting at will?!?! How do you make that connection that because vitali was outlanding surely his brother would as well??? they're two totally different people!
Would Wlad still be on his feet after a huge uppercut from Lewis that land on proven chin Vitali? <<<<Answer that honestly.
Gold Sorry bro but Lewis probably would have had an easier time with wlad, wlad's chin was not nearly as good as his bro's, and lennox would have recognized this and gone after him, not to mention what many have already said, LENNOX WAS OUT OF SHAPE for that fight with vitali and he STILL beat him.
Maybe not a fool, just hasn't really watched the fights, I don't post much on here because I really haven't seen some of the fights talked about to make a comment on but Lewis is one dude I followed, I just think he hasn't seen enough lewis fights nor wlad fights to really talk about it with that much certainty...so you're right maybe a fool for talking without knowing....lol
