I imagine it a bit more like what happenned to Botha, Watch the last 2 minutes of that and it looks like a copy of wlad's defense in there...
Golotha? You're comparing a street thug and night club bouncer to an established HW? Please. I get all the Wlad hate and all, I understand the criticism. But please stop the BS with non-sense comparisons.
It's splitting hairs because regardless of whether it's china, average, or good, Wlad still hits hard enough to take him out because he's one of the hardest hitters the division's ever seen and he's faster and more athletic than guys who've knocked out Lewis. Likewise for Lennox; if I made the argument that Wlad's chin was above average, it still wouldn't be that relevant because Lennox still hits hard enough to take him out. Each man is also significantly more skilled than others who've defeated them along with hitting just as hard, and probably harder. These facts wouldn't be lost on the fighters. Personally, that's why I think each man's cautiousness would result in a rather boring decision affair one way or the other. As for who the edge goes to, give me whoever's got Steward in their camp and corner.
What do their past or outside the ring occupations have to do with their skills??? Micky ward drove a backhoe or some **** for a living and he was an established fighter who went to 3 wars with arturo gatti, your argument is flawed and nonsensical, based on pure speculation and no fact.
Golata had more tools than Wlad. Believe that. What good big man has Wlad ever fought? NONE. Golata handed Bowe his ass - twice.
I'd say against Bowe, Golota looked incredible. He really put his punches together well and in that form would have been hard to beat. However, he lacked the mental make up needed and was one helluva dirty fighter.
True but when comparing both men's skill level there's no question who would win, Wlad was not on Lennox's level when it comes to experience, and skills. The only edge he had was stamina, and MAYBE power, alas we'll never know and will be left to speculate
Agreed but my point was simply about the stigma surrounding Lewis punch resistance. I have no doubt that WALDO could hit hard enough to take Lewis out, and the same applies for Lewis. However, WALD has shown he has trouble with fighters who pressure him and if Lewis put the type of pressure on as he did against Golota, I couldn't see WALD coping. That in my opinion is the significant and resulting factor.

Todays Wlad probably wouldve taken Botha the distance. **** the old Wlad that went for knock outs still took 8 rounds to get him outta there.
