Vladimir Virchis was considered one of the hardest punchers power wise ever. How well did he do without the skills nec. to deliver that power?

Since no one has an actual punch-o-meter I guess we'll never be quite sure.

Firstly, I'm not a "pal" of anyone on this site and I don't enter discussions to help anybody out. The simple fact is this, if Lennox Lewis unretired tomorrow he would be the legitimate and linear champion. Secondly my argument is not that any particular titles need to be unified as my view is most definitely that the man maketh the belt and not the other way around. The two top guys are clearly Vitali and Wlad, my point is how can we start anew lineage when the two best guys refuse to fight each other? I only mentioned Valuev to what'shisname because he was trying to argue that Wlad's collection of titles clearly makes him "the" champion.

uh...holmes did have more snap to his jab. you sound like a f'ing dumb**** when you talk of things not concerning wlad.

wlad has an atg hw jab. but his jab isn't even among the top 10 best across all weight classes.

what nay_sayer is right. i can't believe wlad gets away with pawing his jab so frequently. a decent counterpuncher(there are absolutely none in the current HW division) would only have to throw an overhand counter right to put wlad's ass on the canvas.

Ok, i'll argue by your logic. Wlad isn't the champ because he doens't have claim to the "linear" title. Yet if Lewis unretired today he woudl be champ. By that logic in reality Lewis has and never had a claim to the HW title of champion because Rocky retired with it in his hand back in 1956 and that killed it right there. I'll take it a step further and continue the argument... Well Rocky vacated the title and Patterson fought Archie Moore for the vacant title. Well by that logic then Patterson's win over Moore was valid and thus validating Lewis's claim to the title, then the true HW champ right now would be Vitali, because by that logic Vitali beat Sanders to gain the title that Lewis vacated and is therefor holds claim to the "linear" title.

Bruno could probably murder the heavybag, but I'm not saying he was a very great puncher in the ring.
They're not necessarily the same thing.

BTW Bruno was notorious for tanking in the later rounds

    I'm not wrong am I,though? :D

chambers a fine boxer. he's no threat to wlad. bowe, holyfield, tyson, etc. are all capable of kayoing wlad with a single counter

It's a tie until you consider their competition level, Bruno fought better fighters than WALDO.

can you name best jab fighters (ahead of vlad, one by one, from 10 ten heavyweights). or why did you bring all classes, i didn't get it? the talk was about heavies, i reckon?
