I've seen plenty of Wlad fights, like Brewster I and Sanders.

There's no way Wlad's lethargic so-called "jab" comes anywhere close to Holmes, Ali, and Liston.

Those guys snapped the jab and made it into a real weapon. Their jab was quick and stinging.

Wlad paws with his lethargic jab, there's no snap on it, and any guy with decent head movement and a good counter right would take Wlad's jab away from him.

 

History will be far kinder to Wladimir & Vitali than these biased posters.

Neither one of these guys has ever held the title of "True" Heavyweight Champion - in the same sense as Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Holyfield, Bowe, etc.

So, it seems reasonable, to me @ least, that the Klits don't even deserve to be mentioned along side the likes of guys who legitimately held the title of HW Champion...

oh first you said mccall and i was a little bit confused. the interview about what i refer to, was couple of weeks after the second wlad fight. but you can see that vlad don't use his whole power, because he is afraid, if he miss than the other one will counter punch him. but i think he is top 5 all time. number one is big george, he had the sickest punches i have ever seen

yup, my logic is magic. frank bruno, valuev, jameel mccline are HUGE but aren't the best hitter. bruno especially was large, in excellent condition and had solid technique but is nowhere near the top 10. if it's a simple calculation of mass, muscle and technique he would be. Fighters like shavers and george can have **** technique and be out of shape and still knock you into next week with a glancing blow. punchers are born with it. marciano was born with it to. are you saying wlad hits harder than them?

Well you got me there, i mean back in the day of hollyfield, Bowe and Lewis, their was only 1 belt. shucks guess i don't know ****. And they must all held it longer than Wlad... Maybe you should do yourself a fav and look at boxing rec before saying something ignorant.

 

He's a top tier puncher. Numberwise I don't know what that adds up to because once you get to the level of punching where you're playing pong with your opponent's brains as the ball, there's not much of a sense in nitpicking.

 

Since when do belts make champions?

Being a belt-holder in the weakest of HW eras imaginable isn't exactly something to brag about.

And BTW, beating up on a 37 year old blown up middlewieght to claim his IBF trinket doesn't exactly impress me.
