The funniest thing about that is his comment on Adamek after he was destroyed and humiliated by Vitaly: "after this fight it's impossible for me to get into the ring with Adamek" (which is obvious to any boxing fan) And now he chooses a guy who is slower, weaker, older, shorter and has less experience in HW than Adamek. The guy who even couldn't knock out Vinny Maddalone which was destroyed by soft-hitting Pole.... :roll:
What I'm going to post should be common sense (it's blindingly obvious), but in the world of Klitschko haters, it's not. Several other fighters turned down a fight with Wladimir, it's not like Team Klitschko went straight to Mormeck. Sure, there are better fighters out there, lots of them, but if they all say no and Mormeck says yes, guess who gets the fight?
didn't wlad sent fights out to dimitrenko, helenius, and arreola and they all said no or something, thats what i heard

regardless of how "weak" the current HW division is.. Wlad does not duck people, and he fights everyone available... he just fought the next best heavyweight in the world, after his brother.... wlad doesn't duck challenges.. imo he deserves a easy fight... but of course the klitschko haters, will cry and moan about this fight, the usual
If Seth Mitchell can dig his fists into Arreola or Fury instead of those two fighting bums.... Mayhem could be Wlad's next best challenger.:hey
That's no attitude to take. It's that kind of attitude that allows all these farcical sham type match ups we see time and time again in boxing nowadays.
Wlad should of fought the All time great David Haye, after all he is coming off his stunning defeat to Wlad in his last fight.

1. OK, but Mormeck was on his short list from the very beginning. Wasnt he? So, it was bad choice from the start 2. There are couple fighters who could make this fight little more exciting and would take it blindfold - Grant, Tua, Ustinov or maybe Mitchell. They're past their prime (excluding the last one) but have at least size or punching power to make one round competitive Mormeck doesn't belong to HW and doesn't possess any tool to make this fight last longer than one round if only Wlad wants to
