Nice idea. Not typical prime vs prime bs. Pretty hard to start comparing because I've seen most of those Tyson's opponents only against him. Only Berbick and Smith had more than two loses (according to Boxrec) so his opponents seemed to be pretty solid. Maybe some eighties specialists could tell how good they actually were.
Good thread. Holmes even at that late stage in his career and Spinks both easily beat anyone on Wlad's list. That is the difference for me.
I think Tyson faced better fighters:deal, Holmes even at 38 was still a damn good fighter, Spinks was crafty enough to beat the likes of Brock and Ibragamov.. A Tyson of 88 against Wlad of 10, would be 50-50, if Wlad could make it past the first 6 rounds i give him a slight edge...
Lets see 1. Byrd UD 2. J Smith UD 3. Tucker KO 4. Thomas UD 5. Ibramigov KO 6. Holmes UD 7. Tubbs UD 8. Spinks UD 9. Bruno KO 10.Williams UD I have it 8-2
