I'm glad he's holding on to the WBO, and I hope he takes out the WBC "champ" next (if not that fight, take out Pulev).

There's no need to have other pretenders out there with a belt, calling themselves champion, however futile that claim may be. Wlad shouldn't give contenders any more of an out to acquire a title without fighting him than they've already had. Want a belt? Go through the man, all or nothing. No shortcuts.

Wlad's doing the right thing by ruling the division with a Steel Hammer. :deal

Why does it matter who may or may not have the WBO title? Everyone knows who the champion is, the WBO or any other org cannot dictate that.

Man, it's not like Pulev is a particularly good challenge - surely no better than which ever one of Wilder, Stiverne or Arreola ends up with the WBC belt. If the WBC allows it, every boxing fan except mad haters like you would prefer a unification to a fight with Pulev.

It's all about talent flow. It's no coincidence that the WBC has a backlog of fighters targeting that belt- they didn't have to go through Wlad on their path to a belt.

If the WBO opens up, that just gives contenders another avenue to pick up a belt that doesn't involve going through Wlad.

Wlad's doing the right thing by eliminating the very possibility of it. Don't leave 'em anywhere to run to.

Yeah, but look what happened when Haye had a belt for a while: he crowed all over the media about how he was HW champion of the World and people bought into it. Surely you can't blame the champ for wanting to be undisputed?

If he would fight Pulev, he would duck Arreola and Wilder, and whatever guy will have the WBC belt then, probably Wilder, will be the man, while Vlad feasts on bums like Pulev.
    Haters gonna hate

What are you trying to say? Pulev is good.

The WBC is booked out so who does he fight. Who is there for him that is better than Pulev for his next fight?

Stiverne and Arreola are no threat to Wladimir....that should be obvious.

Fury and Wilder are at least intriguing. Their size, speed, and youth could make difficulties for Wlad.

    The best challenger is Pulev.

Wlad looked good last night. He should face Pulev before he declines further. Pulev isn't going anywhere and will eventually get that IBF belt if Wlad continues to duck him.

Wilders ducked every fighter with a pulse, theres not a hope he would fight Wlad his going for the easy route to the title

Fury was offered the fight but rejected it because he wasnt ready and the money wasnt good enought according to him

    Mansour really?hahahahaha

Vitali gave Briggs the beating of a lifetime, he disappers for 4 years gets a haircut ,throws a shoe at him and talks **** and suddenly Wlads ducking him hahaha. If thats what it take to get a world title shot Charlie Zelenoff would be fighting Floyd Mayweather soon

Undeserving fighters are getting chances at the heavyweight championship because of bogus ABC orgs. Wlad doesn't need these paper titles he's already the champion. Why not just fight the guys ranked by the Ring or transnational rankings and not have to pay some ABS sanctioning fee to be called their "champion".

I can blame him for allowing crap orgs to dictate horrible fights to him. And no one considered Haye the champ nor Value before him and Ruiz before him. Come on now!
