    That might be an Oxy moron cause the guy has to jab , clinch , than he KO"S you.:patsch ...I know but still the dude would and could get away with clinching as long as the kO's come before the 9th round.

    I´m a big Wlad fan, but he OFTEN tonight he was jumping at the guy just to hold him. Don´t know what the hell is up with that. He does it all the time up close because he can´t box at all on the inside, but tonight he was jumping from striking range for a clinch. Awfull product of Manny Stewart... Vitali´s stomach must turn.

    Klitchsko started the clinching in the first round. The first round. Dude is allergic to punches.

    he clinched too much early. thompson had him out of sorts with that high guard but wlad adjusted and started throwing lead rights in the second half forcing thompson to back up leading to far less holding

    Clinchko is effective but not as entertaining as in his past fights. Manny has a tendency to have his fighters jab, than right and then Clinch. I've even seen the change in Cintron

    agreed. he doesnt have that exciting style but he usually delivers big ko's. i can understand neutral boxing fans getting upset watching his fights but the guy is a very good boxer and deserves his cred. he is going to be a very hard man to bring down.

    Watch the Peter fight, Wlad was given the nickname "Octopussy" after all the clinching he was doing in that fight, it was disgraceful.

    you know we could be critics to the fighting style of Clinchko , but the truth of the matter is that many old champs have used or adopted that punch and hold style as they got older and less effective. Lewis, Ali, and even Bhops. It can look ugly but it gets the job done. im not for it but i guess the mentality is win today look good the next fight.

    All the guys you named, aside from Lewis, had great chins. Lewis himself had a pretty good chin imo, alot better than Wlads. Watch Lewis against Briggs, Bruno, Vitali, he didnt mind going toe to toe with his oppenents, all 3 he eventually knocked out when the time came. Wlad fights scared, and his weak chin and lack of toughness is the reason for it.
