Wladimir comeback?

I'd like to see him get brutal revenge on Fury then retire.

 

Hahahaha, the mark of a fool is somebody who tries to rewrite history to agree with their bias and is stupid enough to think historians will agree with them. Yep, Wlad aint got nothing on Stiverne, Molina, Szpilka, Washington, Arreola, Ortiz lol. If Wilder fights anymore sick, weak old men hes going to have change his nickname to The Proctologist.

 

Wilder can't get fights. Joshua knows the danger as did Wlad.

Wlad never showed any interest in fighting Wilder. He wouldn't fight him while he was active , never mind now as a 42 year old retiree.
Wilder would destroy him.

Joshua, Klitshcko, Briggs, Whyte, Breazeale, Chisora, Miller, Povetkin.. on and on.. Wilder has turned down that many multi million dollar paydays and tucked tailed and run from every contender in the heavyweight division that he is the current punchline to every joke of world boxing.

Wladimir Klitschko went from underrated when he was active to overrated now that he has retired.

I doubt that Wlad in his supposed prime would easily beat Wilder, Joshua or Fury. He was always a coward in the ring and mentally scarred from getting knocked out by inferior fighters.

 

I hope he stays retired, he's only going to be worse that last time and unless you're competing for titles what's the point for someone like Wlad who has been to the summit of his sport. Plus with his marriage falling apart you have to wonder if he's mentally as prepared and focused as he could be.

 

Lol, are you kidding? The man had over 20 title defenses and completely dominated the entire division for over a decade. He fought every man there was and is a legend of the sport. Yes, he lost to Fury and Joshua at 40 years old, he got old, its only ever happened to every member of the entire human race. People who run him down post his career are sad and bitter individuals. Both Wladmir and Vitaly Klitschko would have whopped all 3 in their day. If you disagree, let me know when any of them have ruled for a decade dominating every challenger, been multiple world champions or ruled for as long as they did. Wilder flat out refuses to fight anyone, Fury is barely in the ring let alone against anyone any good and Joshua has another 9 years to go before we can even talk of any of these guys being on the Klitshcko's level..

 

That's not up for debate, he was a great champion but only because he had 20 title defenses doesn't mean that
he would beat them easily.

Joshua was a novice in that fight and Tyson Fury would always have the style to beat him. Wilder is dangerous for
him because Wladimir folded when he got pressured and refused to counterpunch, Wilder could always sneak a right hand in and go for the kill and Wlad wouldn't survive.

 

Vitali beat the same level of comp as Wilder , in fact Ortiz is better than anybody Vitali ever beat.

Wlad fought non-athletic plodders for 10 years and beat them by back-humping them every 5 seconds.

Both would be top 5 today , but not championship level.

 

Read my lips. In a pro career spanning over 20 years, Wlad Klitchsko was a world champion for 14 years and an olympic gold medalist. Vitaly Klitshcko was never beaten in his entire pro career. His only 2 loses were stoppages due to injuries, he was ahead on every single scorecard. Both brothers faced any and all comers. To even mention Wilder in the same breath as either Klitshcko is a black eye on the sport, the pair of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Not a single top 5 US heavyweight, not a single top 5 UK heavyweight, not a single top German or Russian heavyweight, not a single mandatory or number #1 contender, not a single world or former world champion. Wilder isnt fit to shine Vitaly or Wladmirs shoes let alone be compared to either of them. Both of them KO1 Wilder in embarassing fashion.

 

Those stats have still nothing to do with the actual fights, Wilder has 7 title defenses, so he could fight 13 plodders and then he could be mentioned in the same breath as either Klitschko ? Because that's what both of them did most of the time, it's not like they beat hall of famers. But you're lost anyway if you believe that the statistics you brought up has anything to do with my original post.

Wlads 20 year career was split in two halves. 96-05 / 06-15.

During the first 10 years when the division was still decent , he took 3 losses while avoiding most of the top rated contenders.
When the division descended into the worst state of its existence post 2005 , then he began to go undefeated , but he still had to cheat and foul in order to beat non-athletic C-levelers.

The best guy he fought during his reign was Povetkin and his performance in that fight was the worst black eye the sport ever witnessesd in recent memory.
You judge guys based on how they perform against their best opposition , so Wlads horrific cheat fest against Povetkin shows where his true level was really at.
Jumping on a guys back every 5 seconds to win doesn't and didn't do Wlad or the sport of boxing any favours.

 

They both avoided rematching guys who beat them.

Vitali ducked the Byrd rematch for Timmo Hoffman and Wlad ducked the Sanders rematch for Fabio Moli.

A mark of an authentic great is overturning a loss or disputed decision in the immediate rematch.

 

Wlad Klitshcko defeated 10 current or former world champions. Vitaly Klitshcko beat 7. Thats some plodders you got there lads, that more world champions than Wilder has had tomato can title defences.

Wlad Klitshcko fought in 29 world title fights, winning 25 of them, with 23 defenses, more than either Ali or Holmes. Vitaly Klitshcko wasnt only the WBC emeritus heavyweight champion, he was named the WBC eternal heavyweight champion of the world he was considered so good.

But hey, a couple Wilder fans trying to run down legends of the sport to make their boy look good, i wouldnt expect anything less from a pair of clowns, f#$king disgraceful and pathetic.

 

Reeling off the stats you read on wikipedia and slinging insults doesn't debunk anything I just said.
