Wladimir desperate for Haye win!

Matt Skelton is a domestic level bum who is 41 years old with a very ugly style and is almost unknown to anyone outside of Britain, beating him proves absolutely nothing at least Barrett has been in with decent fighters.

 

Good to hear Wlad fired up for a potential opponent! I hope Haye can follow through, but Barrett will be no easy fight. Wlad v Haye will be a good fight, and good for boxing.

 

I expected more from an Akira fan to be frank :-( Haye won't beat Wlad it's that simple. the same people saying Haye has a cance were the same people saying Peter had a chance vs Vitali . The true boxing fan knows fact from hope.

 

I think Haye has a chance and i picked Vitali by KO over Peter so frankly you're talking rubbish.

 

Lets hope it happens in the next 6months, when both have there next fights out the way. Haye is much faster than Wlad, better timing and shot picker. His offense is brutal even at HW too. His weakness is his low right hand (but his reactions are very good), and potential stamina problems, although Wlad also has stamina probs.

I see Haye winning by KO before the mid rounds, but then again Wlad can take Haye out too, its a who lands first type fight. Hopefully it will be the HW fight of the decade though

 

I'll reserve any assessment of Haye until after the Barrett fight. But I will say that Haye is far more athletic than Peter and should be capable of pressuring Wlad alot more than Peter did against either Klitschko. It's not a foregone conclusion that Wlad will beat Haye. But again, let's see what Haye does against a quality gatekeeper in Monte Barrett first.

 

The HW division needs people like Haye! But i feel alot of people on here have bought into his talk and hype a little too much.

No its his personality. I hate people like him. He has done nothing yet he spits on people that have. I will bet if he gets his a$$ whipped by Barrett, which be a disgrace since Barrett sux, then he will make excuses and talk more sh1t.

What he is doing is not hyping a fight because he does not have a fight. He does not deserve a fight. He deserves to sit there and STFU until he does something. Until then stay mute.

I also did not say that I wanted him to die or something, but I would not lose any sleep if he got his lip busted or jaw broken nicely. It would be poetic justice for his mouth. I do not wish serious injury to anyone. This puke just annoys me like no other.

Seriously though, I would really like to see him humbled. I would like his spirit to be broken and humbled and embarrassed in front of the world. The guy has no class and has yet to back up anything. If he run thru a few top heavies, particularly recognized top 10 guys, then I will say he deserves the credit ans status at HW. Until then he is nothing but sickening mouth.

I mean I am no James Toney fan, but at least the guy is funny when talks trash. Toney makes me laugh hysterically when he goes off. He is also the kinda guy that will go into the ring at any time and fight any man. He will stand up to any person in the ring, so he has the balls and the fortitude to back it up. I would also bet that Toney does not primp before entering the ring. I dont like his trash talk for boxing, but its at least amusing at times. The difference is that Toney is a HOF fighter and Haye has done nothing in boxing. CW is a division to offer nothing since when guys like Evander and Quawi were fighting in it so his "accomplishment" at CW gives him no right to boast.

All in all, if he just shut up and did something meaningful in boxing, then I would have no problems with him.

Haye is the unified Cruiserweight champion, yet has done nothing?

You then claim that the cruiserweight division is weak...yes it probably is but what the **** do you think the heavyweight division is right now?

As for doing something meaningful, Haye has achieved more in his **** division than either Klit has in their **** division, fact. He may end up getting KO'd at heavyweight but that still doesn't mean your post makes any sense whatsoever. Get a grip, Haye is promoting the fight and trying to make a name for himself, it's no big deal and I guarantee you that no matter what happens in a Haye/Klit fight they'll probably be friends afterwards - Haye is a decent person behind the scenes as many on this board will testify.

 

I dont know why everyone is laying into Haye. He has done exactly what he said, he has all boxing fans talkng about him and the potential HW fights he could find himself in. How many of these threads start with "Haye..." "Vitali vs Haye", Wlad vs Haye"? I'll answer that, quite a few. How could we get excited about this division now without him in it and doing well? I like Wlad and Vitali but the only person they can fight and get any hype surrounding it is...you guessed it, Mr Haye. There is noone else there.
I actuall met David, he is a really really nice guy and when he isn't training in Cyprus he does alot of work here in London, christ he even flew back a few weeks ago to open a gym for kids in the area. But all the **** he has said has done as he hoped.
And for him chasing a pay day,there's no doubt, of course he is. But to say he is just doing that is silly. His promotional company already has quite a large stable and he used his position cleverly. He signed to Setanta(not ppv as such) for a reason, they agreed to show all his promotional events. He is a clever guy.

 

Well I think everything you just said is meaningless nonsense as well, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree. All I know is that guys like the Klitschko's, Sugar Shane, etc make their names in the ring. They are man enough to do their talking with their fists. As for CW, please.....get a grip. To claim to conquer the world, wouldn't u want to have done something meaningful in the place you are going first? To even say that he has accomplished more than VK or WK is nothing short of delusional and everyone who has the displeasure of reading it knows it too.

This would be a mega fight, and would be great for the heavywieght division.

BRING IT ON! I am not only anxious to see how Wlad deals with Haye's speed and agressive powershots, but also, how Haye deals with Wlad's immense size, reach, incredible left hand, and missle like powershots, like the one that put Brock out.

Haye Wladmir would be one monumental fight, no question.
