Yeah... but... NUH UHHHHHH... because... they are from the past and ****. Hell, we have seen documentaries and on them and stuff! Plus, they were just all so amazing, flawless, undefeated, never down, never stunned, nothing but brutal knockouts and witty punchlines!

You can tell that most of these people never bothered to take the time and study the film that is available on most of these old timers. No disrespect to the fighters from the past, because they were great for their eras and should be judged as such... within their own era.

yeah? That's all he knows, what he's seen on boxrec? As opposed to you, who was ringside for all of Langford's fights?

Two things wrong with you: #1, you hang out in the classic forum where they say stuuuuupid **** all day and congratulate themselves on how brilliant they are, and #2, you go for the easy boxrec dis, because of course anyone who cheats by using what is far and away the best research tool for anyone interested in boxing is just a big know-nothing. Kinda like any lawyer who ever uses a law library must just suck because he actually looks up case law huh?

It's easy to skim over a fighters career, look at his losses without knowing nothing about the fighter or circumstances around the fight.

I think he's proved with his last reply that has has no knowledge what so ever of the fighters mentioned. Funny how you mention the easy boxrec dis, and then come back with the age old reply of ''you weren't at ringside''. I use boxrec as much as anyone else, but I'd never just look up a fighter, quickly skim over his career and decide he isn't a good fighter because he has ''too many losses in his prime''

There's some good books out there about Langford, Clay Moyle's book especially, which is packed with information about Langford and his career.
