The Bruno that rocked tyson vs wlad of the fury match? Does Bruno hammer wlad or does klitschko have enough left to beat the brit?
I don't know, the thing with Fury is that he was younger, bigger, faster, and used a minimalist approach that did not give Wlad many openings. Wlad still has the size and hand speed advantage on Bruno, and could bomb him out like he did Pulev.
Bruno by KO. Even at their respective best I believe Bruno could do a number on Wlad. (within 6-7 rounds). After that Bruno wilts.
Yes wlad could have bombed him out but can't see it happening in this one. Bruno could have been in there whacking that jab of his in which may have un settled wlad, the big right hand s from Bruno may have resulted in wlad doing a heck of a lot of clinching. This could have been a very aggressive Bruno and as the rounds go on frank would be in front. I think if Frank can keep it up he get s a unanimous Dec, but if the old fatigue kicks in wlad may seize the chance and stop him similar to the Lewis fight. But it's not out of the question that Bruno could beat this wlad. But it'll be a hard slog for him.
Any prime version of Bruno could possibly beat any version of Wlad. Bruno could take a punch pretty well in his prime. It usually took a lot of punches to finish him. So the odds of Wlad getting lucking and taking him out early is unlikely. Bruno stamina was questionable but Wlad got tired just as often. So most likely this wouldn't go the distance. If they fought 10 times Bruno would KO Wlad 9 of those times in less than 5 rounds.
I've questioned Brunos power here previously but the Bruno of the Tyson 1 fight landed a lot in round 1 of enough voltage to get Wlad out of there.
Otherwise Bruno's handspeed is underrated considering he could outjab the taller Lennox and the 1989 version Bruno looked dangerous enough for w. klitschko's weak chin.Another big problem the Fury version w. klitschko looked impotent he landed only 52 punches/12 rounds and this weak performance is very ridicolous against a vulnareble(Cunningham fight !) slow guy like Fury( who wasn't fast wladimir was too slow).
What's Bruno got to fear from Wlad? Wlads got a very good right hand, but Brunos got one too. Brunos the danger man in this fight not Wlad. Bruno could crack and Wlad could be and has been cracked. I guess the same applies the other way.
Wlad from the Fury fight sucked. But, I also think we have to bear in mind that Fury had a lot to do with it. Bruno might do OK against that version of Wlad at 40 years old and in a shaky mental state. Sure, why not? Prime Wlad controls him like everybody else and gasses Bruno out in around 6-7 rounds before finishing him.
