if wladimir sticks and moves like he did in the first peter fight he will dominate haye.if he tries that hit and hold leaning on hayes back i think he's in trouble.he CANNOT stand toe to toe trying to tie haye up.i believe haye will catch him with something big if he's not on his toes.haye will be lost if wladimir is constantly moving.

    :thumbsup

    Distance is important for Wlad...
But we have to remember that Haye is an outside fighter aswell, he is not likely to move inside..

I agree. However I think a key part of this will be what haye does on the inside when wlad starts clinching. Wlad has to be careful in the clinch as Haye likes to throw some wild bombs in the clinch

I tend to agree. Haye throws wildly when he sees an opening, or after he gets that first shot landed. It will be interesting to see what gameplan Booth comes up with. Maybe he will try get Haye to land that first shot, but instead of charging in looking for the finish...maybe use some in and out movement, and try land the 2nd-3rd shot(s) in the 2nd/3rd phase.

Good analysis and agreed. He'll be very hard pressed to get inside on Wlad if Wlad is in jab and stay outside mode.

what im saying is if wlad tries the leaning on the back thing that he does haye might have something for it.im sure there preparing for it in training.wlad needs to be on his toes like in the first peter fight.sticking and moving.wlad moved like a damn middleweight in that first peter fight.

I got Wladimir by KO around round 5 or 6. But I'm really glad to see all the hype that this fight is getting.

Vlad has to fight with his jab and not take many chances because Haye could counter with his fast right hand. So if Vlad just works his jab and hits Haye cleanly, Haye will get hurt with the jab an then all Vlad has to do after a few rounds is land a few right hands and Haye is knocked out. It is not that hard a fight for Vlad.

I don't think Haye has anything for that hold/lean tactic. Once he gets in, Wlad will hold, lean over him, and smother all his punches. Steward likes to train bigger guys to do these tactics against much smaller opponents. I hate seeing it overused, but hey, it works.

Wlad can use his size with great success on July 2. He can keep on resetting Haye that way. David is not an inside fighter; neither is Wlad. David Haye has trouble with pressure fighters who like fighting on the inside. If Wlad were to pressure HAYE, then that would be very interesting.

Wlad should fight like he did against Chagaev, move and stay behind the jab. Wlad sends Chagaev with a big right hand in round 2 to the canvas. Such right hand will end the fight against Haye. Haye can not tak such a punch. Chambers took it in round 2 on wobbling legs but he survived.

Wlad by early KO or KO round 6 o 7.

It's going to be a short right hook to the temple that catches Haye in round one as he tries to come in under the jab (Similar to the one opened up the huge gash on Byrd in the second fight) Look for it around 25 seconds into the fight. Haye won't get up from it.
