Considering ( or even not considering) Wladimir is a 6'6, 245 lb champion, and therefor facing stiffer competition than the have heavyweight in this span, saying he has awefull staminia is clearly a lie or demonstration of ignorance.

Wlad/Brewster I. Had NOTHING to do with chin.

Only Wlad loss that had anything to with chin was Sanders. Brewster and Puritty were purely stamina related. Wlad punched himself out against Purrity, rookie mistake against a tough as nails Journeyman who had a granite chin. I honestly believe that Wlad may have had adrenaline dump against Brewster, Nothing else explains the sudden and complete loss of energy.

 

The rules say he can, and it works. I'd like a rule change, but until we get one it's still legal and effective. I thought it was bull**** when Tunney did it to Dempsey, when Young did it to Foreman, and slightly less so when Holyfield did it to Tyson, but they did it and it worked.

Wlad proved himself to be an ATG heavyweight when he completely dismantled David Haye.

People don't realize how athletic, hard hitting, and elusive Haye is.

Haye could have been a great fighter and for the short time period he was in the sport, was a great fighter.

Wlad has some of the best footwork in the HISTORY of the heavyweight division. His control of distance and his jab is among the best of all time as well.

And he has enough power to make people realize if they want to beat him, they have to take one hell of a beating in return.

Wlad will make them pay for that win.

Of course he can be caught cold. Anybody could. Sanders proved that.

But his consistency, along with his technical ability puts him among the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Does he have bad stamina?

Compared to a smaller guy, of course. When you have that much body to move around, you have to use more energy to move it.

That's why he makes people adapt to his style by leaning on them.

At some point, a fighter might take advantage of him in the clinch and make him pay, but there isn't a fighter like that out there and there hasn't been for a long time.

Everyone else that could potentially do it are too big, too slow, and not elusive enough.

They only guys I think can potentially challenge him are Haye, (assuming he's healthy and willing to utilize new skills he developed and implement them into his main gameplan), and Wilder with his speed and length.

And Vlad won the gold medal in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, GA, super heavyweight division. How did he do that? I saw him win it and have a video of the win, Vlad looked good and he really earned it............
