    Wach
    Pianeta
    Povetkin
    Leapai (exception)
    Pulev
    Jennings
    Fury

I think I heard Dan Rafael say that Klitschko faced the most undefeated challengers for a heavyweight champion in history.

And this at almost 40 yo.

Yeah, really only Povetkin, Pulev, Fury and Jennings earned their shots, though.

Wlad will be remembered as a great fighter whther the haters like it or not. I hope that somehow, someway, he sticks around and gets to 26 defenses, although it isn't likley.

Pianeta was a warm-up for Povetkin...

    Leapai was a mandatory!!

I think Wach was a voluntary defence...

Na. He'll be remembered as the sole stand out fighter of arguably the weakest HW era of all time, who bored people to the point that his fights were refused to be shown on US television, and who "fought" in a style that would have seen him DQd anywhere but his native corrupt adopted homeland

How he'd have fared against someone like Lewis or Tyson no one will know, but with such a delicate chin and fighting with such fear while fighting grossly overmatched fat bums, my guess is he'd have been destroyed

None were out of the question as fights. All I am saying is that we ought not to make things more than they are. Wlad is a great champ who has taken all all comers, met every mandatory, unified belts, and sqeezed in some interesting voluntaries.

But citing Pianeta and Wach as accomplishments...?

The collective records of Wlad's opponents since 2005 is...588-30-14

    That's damn impressive.

If you just add the losses of Gavern, Firtha, Liakhovich, Harrison and Greer up that's 45 Losses.

However, one needs to take into consideration that record padding is extremely prevalent nowadays, more so than ever...it's impossible to approach the sport with statistics. Otherwise Mayweather would be the GOAT.

If thats the criteria youre going by how on earth could someone with just 49 fights be considered the GOAT?

Naw, weakest era ever was the 80s. The divison was dominated by fat drug addicts and a couple of guys who beat up on drug addicts, one of which (Tyson) was a drug addict himself. The other of those guys, Holmes, OPENLY ducked some of those drug addicts and was ultimately beaten by a LHW.

Shameful era of cowards, drug addicts and guys with eating disorders. Some were two or all three of the above.

Boxing is a science and a sport. If you want every fight to be exciting, go watch ulitmate bar fighting or WWE.

    The US isn't everything.

Since Jack Johnson pretty much invented jab and grab, and Ali himself employed it late in his career...well...you are full of **** and just plain stupid.

Lol. The Tyson was was beaten by Buster Douglas? Lewis who was bested by Rahman and McCall? You are talking completely out of your ass. I would pick Lewis to beat Wlad seven times out of ten. I would bet similarly on the Tyson that existed for about two years. But Wlad would be a live dog in either fight, and would beat most versions of Tyson.

Yes but you are an idiot so your guess doesn't mean anything.

Yes, and a lot (most) undefeated fighters wouldn't even be undefeated if referees/judges had been on the level.
Fury should have lost his undefeated status way back in his 8th fight already, Povetkin lost to Huck imo and Pianeta had a couple of could go either way bouts.

From a purely statistical perspective you can make a case for Mayweather being the GOAT...

    - Undefeated
    - Five-division world champion
    - 12 world titles
    - 26–0 (10 KOs) in world title fights
    - 23–0 (9 KOs) in lineal title fights
    - In the P4P rankings for 90% of his career
