Wladimir Klitschko is robotic and boring! he's a good boxer no doubt but he sticks to his basics too much and fights too many bums. He's very defensive and lacks the ability and speed to fight in the trenches. When he gets caught or is rushed he desperately grabs hold and doesn't let go until the ref breaks it up. And why on earth did he fight Jean Marc Mormeck????? what a waste of time fight! and next is Tony Thompson! which he has already beaten and is not a good boxer by any stretch of the imagination

He doesn't fight anything like he used to now-a-days. But yea, before the Sanders fight, he really was skilled.

Bums? Wlad fought David Haye, he was the WBA World Champion! Mormeck was a stay busy fight after some other boxers said "no", for example Alexander Povetkin, Denis Boytsov, Tyson Fury .....

And Toney Thompson is his mandatory for the IBF so Wlad have to fight him or the IBF will stripped him off. And Wlad will do what a Champion always have to do, fight the mandatories!

  7. He's a handsome devil isn't he? You don't slay Hollywood superstars while being an ugly type.

This was actually a very good version of Wladimir. And he was out of his comfirt zone in enemy territory and still boxed really well.

There can't be an argument here

A lot of people even those inside boxing find Wlad boring

It's the reason he doesn't have televised ppv fights, it's the reason ge doesn't fight out of vegas

It's the reason a lot of casual fans (and non fans) don't have a clue who he is

    :rofl

He's got the highest TV market share among sporting events in general, not just in boxing, topping even the number of viewers who tune into soccer games

Mayweather the self proclaimed "best boxer on the Planet" doesn't even manage to have 0.5% of the American population watch his fights. :-(
American is no longer relevant in boxing terms.

All hail Germany the new home of boxing.

Is it a coincidence that probably the 3 biggest fights involving 'English' fighters have all took place in Germany in recent years? I think not. Those fights were of course Haye vs Valuev, Haye vs Wlad and Chisora vs Vitali. Note that not one German fought in any of those fights.
