In just a few years Wlad will retire.

Now We all know Wilder / Fury / Joshua are groomed to replace him............

We need to make Wladimir chase these guys and beat them NOW. Because they will go onto rule the HW dvision and if he retires having not fought them and one ends up dominating Wladimir's legacy will always be questioned.

Basically what I'm saying is Wladimir has a chance to define his legacy by beating his heirs apparent - something Lennox failed to do by ducking a Vitali rematch.

If Wlad fights & beats them and they go onto dominate for the next 10 years his legacy will be secured. Otherwise it will be questioned.

If Lewis failed to do it, doesn't that mean Wlad will have to rematch them if he wins?

If he's being battered for 6 rds, and wins on a technicality then YES. He will be 38 very soon, and if were to be losing to Fury but somehow get a win on a technicality, and was looking to instead fight Adamek......then yeah, if he continued vs Adamek or retired, he would be questioned irt not comprehensively defending his titles before bailing.:blood

I do think Lewis should have rematched VK, but that was no technicality. A technicality would be his 2nd jumping in the ring, a la Carlos Molina. You could have hidden a strawweight in that wound.

IMO, the OP is likely wrong.

Fury is only 25 y/o. He is almost undeniably going to be a titlist at some point in the future. However, one can hardly look at him and think....."This guy is the heir apparent" to the K2 throne.":D

Wilder seems to be ringer for becoming a dominant HW Champion, but like Wladimir, he has serious question marks irt his punch resistance, and while he seems the more devastating KO artist of the 2, he has not fought more than 4 rds, has he???? How will do vs a Chisora or Helenius type. Someone who's not going to fold when clocked?????? So who knows as to Wilder????? For all I know, he might go one and become the GOAT. But as of now, if Wladimir fought him and laid him out in a rd, what would that do for his legacy???:huh

Joshua is being moved well. He just beat a decent fighter last w/e. Will he be able to make a title challenge in the next 2 yrs before Wlad is 40???? Likely not. However, if he runs his record to 20+ wins and beats a few top 20s when he gets there, maybe he'll get a shot. At that time, we'll consider him and heir to the throne. Not before though:nono:nono:nono

You want Wlad to chase a guy who just made his pro debut a week ago?

    Fury.....lol.
The only reason why people talk about him is that the division is weak. Beating up smaller guys, getting on his ass against a no name. He is not even a factor. More of a joke...

It makes me laugh cause the situation is the same than for mayweather...
Some haters wants so much to see them on their ass that they want them to fight against the strengh of their opponents instead of neutralizing them. Pathetic. I don't care if the fight is boring as long as the job is done.

How could he win a round when he has a 240 pound *** grabbing him and trying to push his head down to his dick? You are pathetic defending WLads illegal tactics. WLad could not stop Povetkin from getting inside so he cheated over and over again and should have been DQ.

Exactly. Its amazing that people are still crying about Vitali losing and that Vitalis whole resume is based on a loss.
