The Klitschkos are both dirty fighters, and that's why no one likes them. Even in Russia people think they're bums. The Russian commentators last night spent more time talking about Mike Tyson than Vlad.

Who knows what would have happened if the referee had done his job last night.

That ref was pathetic.Wlad pushed Povetkin down 3 times in a row and the dumb ref called it a knockdown. Wlad paid that ref off for sure. That fight was a disgrace to boxing. Wlad should be stripped of his belts and his purse should be held. Not even Chef can defend Wlad this time.

All that clinching really ****ed up Povetkin's face, and had him staggering like Bambi from a jab in round 2.

The only ****** here is you!

Thats the frustrating thing about watching Wlad, you know he's much the better fighter than Povetkin, but yet he feels the need to get himself into a clinch every 2 or 3 punches he throws, what does that say about his ability to avoid a punch without getting into a clinch???

Absolutely he was staggering Povetkin. Wlad's much the stronger and more powerful puncher. Wlad fully capable of hurting Povetkin with even his jabs, but he only allows himself to throw them from distance and once any fighter is within a certain distance thats inside his comfort zone, Wlad immediately initiates the clinch.
The smaller fighters only chance is to work inside, Wlad by way of breaking the rules takes that away from the smaller fighter and the ref does absolutely nothing about it.

How many times did Wlad initiate a clinch against Povetkin?

How many ****ing points were deducted??????

I'll tell you, ****ing zero!!! :nut

Povetkin actually did initiated plenty of clinches but thats because hes not much of a inside fighter either, he is a medium range fighter.

If you go into someone head first and put your arms around them you are much part of the clinch as the other guy is.

    Learn some boxing.

Once again i am agreeing that Wlads holding was excessive and unneeded but to say Povetkin would have knocked him out otherwise is just ******ed.

This simply does'nt fly as its the same broken record with Wlad in every fight.

The same type of argument was put up by the HBO broadcast team to defend John Ruiz during the Holyfield trilogy.
During that time, HBO was in love with Lennox Lewis they'd go way beyond being rationale to diss Evander Holyfield.
During that Holyfield-Ruiz trilogy, the HBO broadcast team went as far as to blame both Ruiz and Holyfield equally for the exessive clinching in those fights.
I was beyoind mad having to hear the HBO broadcast team diss a legend like Holyfield like that when it was clear as day that ever time Ruiz went foward to jab, he was allready with both arms outstretched to get himself into a clinch with Holyfield who was standing his ground to throw a counter. Only Ruiz would duck real low and clinch.

Subsequent John Ruiz fights after Holyfield showed that Ruiz was the real culprit to the clinchfest with Holfyield. He did it in every single fight ti'll he retired.

There is'nt a fight that goes by where Wlad does'nt play the same clinch infested game.

Guess thats where you and me differ on a fundamental level.
I find Wlad as boring as the next guy but i can still remain objective when it comes to a clash of styles.
Seeing as you are a hater you just see what you want to see.

I clearly see 1 fighter ducking to waist level and bullrushing in without throwing punches for the first few rounds.... this WILL cause a clinch.
What do you objectively expect Wlad to do at this point.... crouch down and throw a uppercut?

Now after those rounds Povetkins energy was sapped and he stopped rushing below the waist and Wlads clinching got excessive and illegal and i think the ref should have warned him.

But you state that if Wlad would not do this he would get KOd which is just living in a fairy tale land....
We have seen in the past that when Wlad gets the warning and stops clinching he tends to do even more damage.
Especially when Povetkin clearly is constantly getting hurt and not phasing Wlad.... but you say Wlad will get KOd by Povetkin... which is just completely out of touch with reality.

Trust me its not so hard to do a proper analysis if you stop blindly hating.
