"scared" is the wrong word for the Peter fight. He was very concerned about Peters Power. There was so much riding on that fight. Had Wlad lost, his career was DONE. Peter had been knocking guys out left and right and Stewards plan was clinch when Peter gets inside to subdue his power. Wlad wanted to fight from the outside while Peter wanted inside. When a big punchers gets inside, the stradigy for most boxers is "tie him up". I dont think Wlad was doing anything different than alot of boxers do when facing a big punchers that wants to get inside. As far as the Sanders fight. Wlad has told me (i wasnt working for him then) that he completly underestimated Sanders. Wlad thought he was unbeatable and was not mentally prepared for what happened. His mind let him down not his chin. It was a huge lesson for him.
