Another aspect often forgotten in the worshipping of punching power: How good is the fighter at feinting, how good is he at disguising his punch? How's his hand speed?

What good is the hardest punch in the world if your opponent sees it coming from a mile away each and every time.

Haye took Wlad's best punches on the night. But he didn't throw anything back and lost the fight.

Regardless of how these names, if your caught flush your going down.

    This is the right answer..

I would also aruge that Wlad's strongest punch could very well be his left hook.

ill respond to your post and not jacks because hes a twat..id expect more from you..you know fine rightly haye was moving that much on the outside wlad did not hit haye with anything flush to knock him out..his chin is indeed terrible and proof of this is in the 12th round when wlad hit him with a short right when haye tryd to attack and it rocked him that much he retreated to the corner and started his mid air swiming routine..

So because Wladimir couldn't KO David Haye who was fighting a very negative, timid, and almost entirely defensive fight, his power is overrated?

    Brittards these days...

When a fighter is ONLY focused on defense, they absorb punches better. Haye has an average chin. He has been dropped by shots that would never drop a fighter with a good chin, and he has stood up to punches that would drop someone with a glass jaw. That being said, Wlad never fully loaded up on any shots, though he tagged Haye a few times. Haye survived because he put 0 effort into offense. Once he tasted the first few jabs he abandoned any hope of winning and bent his will on not getting embarrassingly KO'd. Anyone who knows boxing knows that when a fighters gameplan is "don't get KO'd", it's hard to hurt them.

    Deal with it brittards.

Booth said that after this punch Haye 'stopped listening to what I said' and he knew the fight was lost.

Yes, Haye took the shot well and wasn't out on his feet but this one punch broke his spirits. He knew he couldn't win and just resorted on throwing the odd windmill hayemaker while avoiding any further damage to his own jaw.
